My gut is telling me we will be drafting a CB in the 1st round

It's hilarious how Idzik keeps touting the plan and not tying up guys on long-term deals, and Cro/Revis both signed one-year deals.

For what it's worth, Rex referred to Darrin Walls as being "like a relief pitcher" in his interview with Eric Allen today. That's not a phrase you use about a corner you see as a starter going into next season.

Ras I Dowling was cut because he was injury prone - not because he sucked as a CB.

Here's hoping he stays healthy. If he does stay healthy, maybe Jets won't even need to bother with CB position for now. [I wouldn't bet on him staying healthy from now on till his retirement however - that's pushing it.]

Better hope Justin Gilbert is there. Gotta be a CB in first round.

We need to stop investing so much into corners. We don't need to take one in ths first. Milliner and Wilson were both taken in the first round.

Kinf of hard to determine if he can stay healthy until the season is mostly over which is a little late to decide if they need more CB help.

I expect that he'll probably add one or two more young CBs and add them to the competition for the other starting CB. If you're preaching competition, as Idzik has, then that's what he'll do.

Idzki's pattern from last year is to draft in the first three or four rounds BPA and thereafter to draft to fill needs. I expect he'll do that again this year, so the first five picks or so (their first 4 picks and the TB pick) will likely be BPA and after that they'll look to fill needs. I do not see them drafting anybody other than BPA with their first round pick. Remember last year that he took Richardson with his 2nd first round pick, even though DL was the strongest unit on the team.

And Dowling was the 1st pick of the second round in 2011. If he can stay healthy it will nice to see what he can contribute.

This ^ is beyond true. Ra's Al Ghul and Darren Walls are not the answer but neither is taking another corner in the 1st, if we draft another CB I hope it's after the 3rd round.

Looked mighty fine vs the cowboys last night. Shut down Dez when he came to his side. 4 PD's and 6 tackles. Even I am a better GM than idzik ;)

BTW Breeland was a rd4 pick for Skins and is a starting CB.
