    I gotta agree with Revis24...keep Mike Vick as far away from the Jets as possible... Always thought he was over rated... Now he's old and broken down... I too would rather keep Sanchez

    I hope so too. Fuck them. Vick gives us a legit veteran backup QB that knows Marty's system and can step in and play in case Geno either sucks or God forbid gets hurt. This also allows Geno to get all the reps he needs without having to split them up in training camp.

    There's going to be a QB controversy until we get a franchise QB. Maybe that's Geno, maybe it isn't.

    Yea and if Geno does get injured or benched odda are Vick will get injured to.Vick has never finished a full 16 game season.So it would come down to Matt Simms

    How do you know Vick will get hurt? Vick is more than likely being brought in here to possibly compete or at the very least gives us a legit option at the backup QB position.

    If that's the case then I'd pass on him. But I'm assuming that if he signs here that there are conditions he has to abide by.

    You keep saying Vick has never played a 16 game season correct? Well, if Geno gets hurt, that means Geno had to have played games in the season. Well if that's the case, your theory means shit because Vick would be playing less than 16 games ;)

    More than likely he's gonna be the backup. So we don't have to worry about health. I'm sure if needed he can get through 2 or 3 games. When he was healthy last year he played well. So I don't understand this idea that Vick is "done".

    How about this "report" from Metha saying Idzik apologized to an agent for his negotiating tactics? If it was DRC, then maybe the Jets were as interested in him as he was to play football if he won the super bowl
