Which should stop all the talk. We are better off drafting a wideout and not have to pay him that much rather than give up a 3rd round pick and have to pay for a receiver that we wont get as much out of compared to say the Patriots having him.

Yeah, that's sad and maybe we should be looking for a new QB instead because no matter what we do or who we get the chances of getting to a SB without a franchise QB are slim.

cooks looks like hes going to be a scary player...he has real speed and some of the jump balls where he comes down with the catch is pretty impressive...but is lee the better all around WR?...IMO the offense needs a dynamic playmaker with speed..cooks fits the bill

He would have to restructure his deal obviously,I'm sure the Jets have intrest but by the time we make a move he will be wearing a Patriots jersey

Jets fans have become spoiled when it comes to CB's. He lost a step last year but he wasn't as bad as you guys are making him out to be.

Name the last thing you were happy about. Just in life, in general.

I'd rather Idzik leave the position unaddressed like he did with cornerbacks.

And now he might sign the one guy I absolutely wanted to stay away from. Michael "Ribs of glass" Vick

Good news. Hopefully we sign him. All those guys that claim they will not root for the Jets anymore, or how they won't watch any games or how they'll sell their season tickets. Better get prepared.

I honestly don't think anyone cares about the dog thing anymore.

It's more about the fact that he's an injury waiting to happen. He'll break a rib or pull a hamstring and Simms will end up being the backup again when it's all said and done.

Hasn't played a full season since 2006. That's all you need to know.

If we sign Vick we will have the QB controversy that never materialized once Sanchez got hurt last year and the media will start tearing the Jets apart again just as they were then. Of course I can see Idzik signing him just so he can cut Sanchez on Monday morning saving the 2.5M bonus spend. The idea that he may still get another backup before the season starts never enters his mind.
