Where do you people keep pulling A. Berry from. He's not on this team anymore lol You guys are too busy bitching and moaning about Idzik that you don't even know your own teams roster
You would think that Wilson and Millner could both be starting corners since they were first round picks-- would that be so crazy? We would have to believe in them but I think there is always some risk taking involved. Also, when Walls played last year I thought he played pretty well. I know there is a lot of time left from now until this roster is set but everyone should just calm down a little. I hope we bring Colon back I thought he was well worth what we got him for last year.
He is the GM so whether it is trades, drafts, contracts, etc. he is going to get credit for the good moves and blasted for the bad moves. Do you really think he was just going to chance taking the word of a scouting dept. he did not hire, his first year on the job? He probably put more into that draft than he will with future drafts since he has his own guys in place now. This is not saying he will slack in that dept. He also has a heavy scouting background so lets stop acting as if he was some pencil pusher. I will say one thing, it is a good thing he is in place and not you because we would probably have Ryan Nassib to show for our 1st round pick from last year.
Colon should get a deal thats just like Paces, 2 years 5 mil, give or take. the goal in the long runs hold be for Campbell to take over eventually as he gets his technique down, but so long as he's healthy theres nobody on the market at G that should be brought back more than him.
Milliner was a bad pick. The kid will be out of the NFL in three years IMO. He is always hurt and cant tackle Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He's always hurt? Lmao Another moron posting. No matter what there is a fuckin negative about every one and every thing with this fan base. I think we are getting more and more moronic posters from these other forums now.
His ridiculous closing speed alone will make him a great corner. hes more physical than he gets credit for
Smh. I was so mad the night of the draft because I wanted Tavon Austin badly. When he got taken #8 I was livid but I loved the Milliner pick. He was a stud at Bama and was the best player available at the time in a very weak draft. He played awesome those last 3 games and will only get better.
I sat here for 10 minutes trying to come up with a response but congrats, you flummoxed me. I am sure I will get great pleasure out of reading future posts of yours
I am 15 days into a 3 month rehab after surgery. I was figuring on killing a bunch of time of here since I can not do much of anything. It could be a long 3 months.
I agree entirely with this. It's way too early to close the book on Milliner. Like most sophomore players, his body of work isn't big enough to determine whether he'll end up being a Kyle Wilson or something better. Hell, even after a couple of seasons, it's difficult to tell -- just look at Ted Ginn or DRC. But all that's somewhat immaterial because, as fans, all we can do is watch.
Jackson is not an Idzik guy. All accounts are that Brandin Cooks is Jackson Part 2. If the team was this high on Jackson, they can take Cooks with 18 AND have him locked up under a rookie contract for a fraction of the $$ without coughing up picks.
