Name me a few other teams who are in a worse position. Keep in mind, Milliner was one of the worst players in football until the last 3-4 weeks of the year. We cant really count on him to step up and be a #1 CB just yet...

Rex never had a CB as good as Revis in Baltimore and yet he made things work quite well there. I think Revis leaving may have been the best thing that could happen to Rex. I think he's become overly dependent on his CB's because he had the luxury of having a great one and a good one in the same backfield. I look forward to seeing what he will do when he can't lean on his CB's to make everything else work better.

Last year his CB's sucked and yet the Jet defense was ok anyway. This year the CB's should be better, since Milliner seems likely to be better than Cro or himself last year. Let's see if Rex can take advantage of the personnel he has instead of premier CB's.

We should have kept Holmes at a higher price-tag, you are right sir. Damnit Decker! I hate having a wide receiver that is more durable, younger, and more physical.

    DAMNIT IDZIK!

Just stop posting man. Your ignorance is making yourself look really bad. People are throwing his name around because he was a HUGE signing in comparison to the WRs on this roster. It was an enormous upgrade and will make a difference.

The problem is, you lack the understanding of that. Stop making this fan base look bad.

JetsTwitter is a blaze right now with this Desean Jackson trade idea. We have the cap room and the extra picks. It could happen. Would definitely affect atleast the first 2 rounds of the draft.

*Picks would be 3rd and 5th rounders*

Yeah he had McAlister in 2005 and 2006. He was hurt for half or more the season in 2007 and 2008.

The point is that Rex had Revis when he got here and was essentially spoiled by that reality. Having average CB's is something that most Super Bowl champions deal with. In the cap era that's one of the reasons they are champions.

To be honest, there is no free agent available this year that could make us favored to win the division. The Patriots routinely win 12 - 13 games, and I don't see any free agents or combinations of free agents that were available who I'd expect to add 4 or 5 wins to our total.

Trade him for our third. We will most likely not sign a guy as effective as Jackson in the third.

Maybe Idzik uses this to make a splash finally.

If you have a Twitter account, #JetsTwitter is the collect community of Jets fans on Twitter. Beware, sometimes the I.Q. is lower than some posters on here.

Seahawks | Offer to Golden Tate was laughable
    Tue, 18 Mar 2014 16:05:42 -0700
Former Seattle Seahawks WR Golden Tate said the offer from the team to attempt to re-sign him was "laughable," and he ended up inking a five-year, $31 million deal with the Detroit Lions. "I didn't mean a 40 percent discount," Tate said. "I'm going to earn in one year at Detroit what Seattle was going to pay me for two years. Seattle offered numbers that were laughable. I thought, 'I've given you everything and this is what you give me?'"

Bears have officially released WR Earl Bennett.

Might be worth going after for a cheap contract; he seems like a quiet yet respectable guy with good hands. Just outperformed by Jeffery and Marshall once they arrived.

He's not a 1st or 2nd wide receiver, but he seems like a good fit. He's also only 26.

That's odd. Nobody is demanding for the Seahawks head on a stick, weird because he is kinda acting firm and sticking to his guns just like, Idzik.

There is a reason the Seahawks let Tate go, he wasn't worth that type of money, the Lions overpaid and it will show.

I'm loving that we finally have a GM that is determined to put together a winning TEAM, he isn't worried about these over hyped free agency "all-stars", he knows that adding a bunch of big named guys and over paying them will never win us anything as a team because after all, it is a team game.

Golden Tate can laugh all he wants, let's see how he does on a losing team. I'm willing to bet he doesn't live up to that contract. The Seahawks know it too.
