More Jets crap: Darksiders and retard fans who have no clue about football. Probably the same people tweeting about Revis being a "TRADER" because they couldn't graduate the 5th grade.
So what will be said by this group if we go 6-10 or 5-11 or some other losing record after Idzik's second year? (this should be fun to hear)
I liked everything you said with the exception that Wilson can cover and tackle, he is horrid at both and deserves to be cut immediately. I'm not joking either.
They will use the rebuilding excuse as long as they can until they squezze every last drop of bullshit out of it.They will say "its only year 2 of rebuild"Idzik has a plan 2015 is our year
Not as laughable as your constant negativity & obsession for bashing Woody w/ no knowledge of ANY of the inner workings & based solely on assumptions. Bitter, short sighted foolish assumptions. I'm trying to figure out what fans like you want from a draft. Seriously. If our draft picks sit & learn..you yell & scream that they are useless. If they play & take their lumps "Well they only started cause the team sucks". I'm tired of it. Like a whiney self entitled child. Who's to say Milliner, Winters, Bohanan & hell even Richardson won't get better? How is them starting & ALL of them showing glimpses a bad thing? Really?Geno Smith is the worst QB you've ever seen? How many QB's have you watched? How many ROOKIE Qb's have you watched? Judging by that hyperbole not many. Now maybe "Best draft in a long time" is a bit premature. But to go completelky the other way & bitch like Rich Kotite was making our picks is just being negative for negativity's sake. Sorry we're not the Patriots or Giants.instant gratification doesn't come easily for this franchise
Your right. He just may look great this year but it just may be because the other CB (especially if it's Wilson) will be toasted game after game. I don't know Idzik plan but as a Jet fan I sure we have one on the roster that can step up.
Wahhhh...the jets didn't sign every free agent I wanted 1 week into free agency..we're doomed! If you aren't on the realistic rebuilding bus..just go find a new team.
How does that make any sense? If the guy proves to be a bust, that's on Idzik for making a poor selection. If he succeeds, credit to the coaching staff for…helping a high first round pick play like a high first round pick?
Gambling is fun, but you need a backup just in case. Right now we're REALLY gambling that Milliner can be #1, and that Walls or Wilson can be #2. At this point we should probably bring in a cheap Champ Bailey.
My answer to that is "what will be said by THAT group if we go 9-7 or 10-6?" Trying to figure out exactly what the Jets are going to do this year before the draft or free agency or training camp is over is kind of silly. Trying to figure out what the reaction to that result will be is really silly. Right? What will people's reaction be if the Jets go 14-2, win two games in the playoffs and then get blown out 43-8 in the Super Bowl? FIRE IDZIK. No doubt.
ROTFLMAO - yes, the "worst graded fb in the nfl" based on all the scientific methods at our disposal to grade NFL fullbacks ... which is to say some guy writing an article for a no-name website said "Hmm, Bohannon, he's a rookie and I never heard of him, so I'll put him last." Bohannon may or may not suck, but I am 100% sure anybody who "graded" him and doesn't collect a paycheck from an NFL team has no idea if he was any good last year. Why do people insist on quoting people in the media who have less knowledge regarding the team than the average fan? It's like tattooing "I don't know what I'm talking about, but I'm gonna be mad about something!!!" on your forehead.
You have a point but to date I don't think we have gotten better than we were last year so going 9-7 or 10-6 wasn't in my thinking.
To be completely fair, PFF did rank him 24th out of 24 fullbacks last year. Yeah he's a rookie and we had an abysmal offense so it makes sense, but Chris isn't incorrect about Bohannan's ranking.
you cannot lump everyone into being either FO homers or people that hate the FO - you can think some of the stuff they get right and some of it they get wrong - it isn't all or nothing the same way people try to make out that Idzik is trying to destroy rex or vice versa - I mean it is just possible - crazy as this seems - that they have agreed an approach and are *gasp* working together for the good of the team (and so both their jobs and careers at the same time)? I mean I know its more exciting for everyone to swallow the media nonsense that the Jets are full of discord - personally I will wait until I see some actual evidence of that before I take anything that the daily news or PFT or around the league print seriously.
you want to pay a one dimensional Desean Jackson $12m a year when we have a developmental QB that is going to be limited to 20 odd throws a game?
How do we know he is or isn't? How do we know marty told him the guy isn't worth his contract. How do we know philly isn't asking too much. We don't but idzic will get crucified for missing out anyway right?
We're better than we were last year already. We have a healthy capable WR as our primary acquisition of the off-season. That was the biggest thing the Jets were missing last year. Holmes and Kerley couldn't stay on the field. Even if we somehow go into the regular season with just Decker, Kerley and Nelson as our big 3 we're better off than we were last year, assuming Kerley can stay on the field. The loss of Cro is no big deal. He was bad last year and he's 30 this year. The Jets can get somebody to be bad and young and at least learn something in the process. They might even get a surprise out of somebody and that'd be really nice.
