We do? Who is that? I haven't seen a 1500 yard rusher on the Jets..since...ever. Tell you what, if we did we would have a lot more than 8 games last year just like they did.

There's plenty of time between now and the start of the season. As it stands now, we're the same team as we were last year with Eric Decker, the rest of free agency + 10 draft picks to go.

    Chill out.

ivory was clearly hurt for most of the year and our offensive line was in the bottom 25% of the league last year in run blocking. also, ivory literally faced 8 men fronts every game, how many times did you see him get tackled behind the LOS? a lot

marshawn lynch and chris ivory are clones of eachother, they are both fast power backs that couldn't catch a cold

I like your optimism but we are not exactly the same as last year... we don't have a starting guard... Decker is a slight upgrade over Holmes we hope... as for the CB position we had Cro last year who isn't on the team anymore...

The jury is still out for me... as of today I will give Idzik the benefit of the doubt as that is probs the healthiest option for my heart lol

Lynch was traded for a 4th rounder.

In a way, you can say Ivory is his equivalent for the Jets.

He was just an avg. RB at Buffalo with injury issues. He only became Beast mode in SEA

Now I agree and I have faith in Idzik but the seahawks although they did build mostly thru the draft they did make some moves in signing talent thru FA or trading for... Off the top of my head they signed Marshawn Lynch, Michael Bennett, Sidney Rice, Percey Harvin, Cliff Avril, Winfield and traded multiple picks for Matt Flynn and Charlie Whitehurst. The QB' not so good moves but they traded for and took shots none the less... But I do agree, let's chill out and let this play out.

However you want to spin it,

this strategy has made Seattle the most balanced team in the NFL today, from total disarray 5 years earlier.

I agree J1Z watching Cro get burned over and over made me wanna replace him ASAP as for Milliner I loved his progress in the last few weeks... that said I would be just a tad more confident in him as a starter if we had a good CB opposite his spot... as of now I don't see it

Most those guys were value/cheap FA's signings, with low guaranteed money, trying to always limit downside in case they don't work out.

Not the $8+mil a year type contracts everyone here on the board is rooting for, that may turn into horrible signings...

draft a corner in the mid-rounds. lots of great talent, Aaron Colvin should even be around in rds 6-7.

Wilson was solid in his role as a number 2 corner in 2012. Plus we have Aaron Berry and Darrin Walls. This is the year that Wilson has to prove to everyone that he's a capable corner. I'd be more comfortable with a vet in place, but apart of me wants to see how well Wilson could do in a increased role.

True, they didn't spend a ton on most of those guys except for the receivers.

Harvin signed for 6yrs 67 million and Rice for 5yrs 41 million.
