It's worthless crap, just like him. Hard to believe we went from bad to worse when we traded Cimini for this douch bag.
If the Jets don't go at least 8-8 Idzik will have a hell of a time trying to blame it on Rex and the media will make sure of that.
Ugh I just read on rotoworld that we have interest in Jacoby Ford,,,,,,I know this guy cannot play WR but can he play Cb or OLB ?
Now with Weeden signing with the Boys I wouldn't mind seeing if available getting Kyle Orton to sign with us. A guy with starting credentials who can play if Geno struggles or is injured. I'm glad Idzik didn't sign Rogers-Cro. And it wasn't because he wants the team to lose so he can fire Rex. If Rex was lobbying for DRC then it just means he's now in charge on player personnel is going to build an entire team not just Rex's defense. This team needs depth and with that extra money he can build it. The money is going to be spent.
So now we're back to this again...accusing Idzik of tanking to try to get Rex out of here? Maybe he's taking a second crack at it like Rachel Phelps in Major League lol.
It's unfortunate to see so many seemingly good free agent options go, but I do like the moves that have been made so far and there are still decent options out there.. I'm not advocating for these guys necessarily, but trying to throw out more names QB - Still solid veteran backups Ryan Fitzpatrick Jason Campbell Shaun Hill Michael Vick WR - Wouldn't want to count on these guys to start (hopefully the 1st or 2nd round yields a starter), but definitely lots of good depth, competition options, many of which can be added without huge deals. James Jones Damian Williams Sidney Rice Josh Morgan Tiquan Underwood Miles Austin Jacoby Ford OG - Still some options for at least depth and competition Travelle Wharton (probably the best overall OG on the market from day one of free agency) Garrett Reynolds (had some struggles last year, but still was a plus player by PFF and is young and versatile) Uche Nwaneri (graded out as a better OG than Colon) Daryn Colledge Willie Colon CB - Probably the position with the most disappointment thus far and very few good names remaining, yet still some possibilities out there to compete. For what it's worth, Darrin Walls graded out much higher by PFF's ratings than Antonio Cromartie. Rashean Mathis (old, but had a good season and could be worth looking into as a stop-gap/depth) Mike Jenkins Carlos Rogers (also old, but could be an option depending on what he has left) Antonio Cromartie S - Again, wonder how highly they value Antonio Allen.. Chris Clemons (great coverage safety still out there. His week-long wait can't be bringing up his price either) Steve Gregory (Pats get Revis, Jets answer withGregory) Ryan Clark Kendrick Lewis Thomas DeCoud (Bad 2013 season, but better in past)
I'm pretty sure there were other corners Rex would have preferred over DRC and he didn't get them either..I'm starting to wonder if Idzik can close a deal with anybody, I can't believe that Decker is the only player in this entire FA class that the Jets wanted.
manish has been awful all off season and wrong about legit everything..idzik missed out on a fa and now he's firing people now? what is he even tweeting..every other reporter has been kinda keeping it low key because…..nothing is really going on…manish can blow a bag of d*cks, i thought cimini was bad
manish should be absolutely embarrassed by those tweets, i'm pretty sure this is exactly what the jets wanted. we want to build through the draft and i believe idzik can do that people seem to forget we soon have to pay for the 2nd best DE in football and it looks like sheldon is an up and coming star. these players won't be cheap to keep. also, if geno plays even remotely well he will get a huge contract for just being a QB
seattle's record past 5 years 5-11 7-9 7-9 11-5 13-3 SB The entire core of the team has all been built through draft and signing of cheap, quality, talent. Please tell me how many big name signings made through FA's did Seattle have while they went through this transformation?? Only guy I can think of is Percy harvin last year, and he hardly had any impact this season at all. ----------------------------------------------- People need to chill out, and let Idzik's approach and discipline work it's magic.
We should talk to Mario Manningham. I always thought he'd be a great fit on the Jets. I'm pretty sure he's not signed anywhere right now.
that 2nd lucky 7-9 season was a playoff run, they beat the saints who had just won the super bowl..3 season of those records normally gets every one fired..so making the playoff was a fluke that bought everyone time
