He had them as a 4 before the tournament started. This was AFTER they had just blown out SMU and UConn in consecutive games (SMU on the road, and SMU and UConn were ranked 18th and 19th in the country at the time). I'd love to see him or anyone else, argue that there were 12+ teams that have had a better season. Yeah they were clearly in either way (they weren't even close to the bubble before the tournament), but a very impressive win to bump their seeding up. Top to bottom, it's no contest. The SWAC is the worst every year. For example, Irvine is much, much better than any team in the SWAC. They just happened to get upset. Cal Poly is also better than any SWAC team.
They need a scorer and a center for next year. Cooney should be coming off the bench, he is horrible. Coleman's progress was stunted because of injury and we are losing Keita. I don't know what the recruitment class looks like but we are in trouble. Good news is I believe Ennis comes back.

Obokoh redshirted this year, he's a center from Nigeria through Rochester who looks a hell of a lot like Olajuwon- now if he can just play like him. Met him, he's a nice kid and he looked pretty athletic in practice but apparently he's pretty raw offensively. Hopefully the year of practicing against Keita and Christmas helped. Plus the new guy McCullough looks like he could be the real deal. He's a PF so I think we'll be okay up front, we just don't have a scorer replacement for Fair waiting in the wings. _
