Just spoke to my brother who as been a commercial pilot for about 15 years, flys internationally now for FedEx and he said he has NO idea what could have gone down. Very strange, usually when there is a crash or an incident he has it figured out pretty quickly and he said this time he's completely stumped. Literally no idea what might have happened. This is so bizarre. I can't imagine that this plane is sitting on a remote landing strip somewhere but I also can't believe that if it exploded at altitude or crashed into the ocean there wouldn't be ONE piece of debris floating around that has not been spotted. And I get that it's a big ocean but something's gotta be found. _
Well I would totally agree Brad...but they did steal the plane. It could be refueled already. A plane of the that size flying lets say 300 miles to its target? Tough stuff but who knows what that plane looks like now if IF it landed. I know...crazy stuff Im typing up there..I get it...but the bottom line is..show me the plane and I will stop. I still can not believe that plane is out there somewhere.
JS...Exactly bud..exactly. Dead on..and amazing how a guy like your brother is having a tough time coming up for answers. Mind-boggling to say the least.
I told him it was obvious Liam Neeson wasn't on the plane. I hate flying anyway, not looking forward to getting on my flight tomorrow out of White Plains, such a small airport, don't love the security. Martinis in the lounge beforehand. _
Neeson is the answer. It would have been over by now. I hear you JS. The flying thingy, I would prefer never to do it again and once I do it, Im usually ok with it. Still, would rather not.

I'm just saying the pilot first came up as a suspect 24 hrs ago shortly after which compelling evidence about the pilot began coming out, enough of which over 12 hrs ago made it seem conclusive to the reader.
Oh..sorry..I just read that article. Have been watching the news channels and surprised at their lack of primary focus on the pilot..they mention the pilot as they mention the passenger list. I hear you as a suspect...Im just surprised at how the media is not saying 99 percent. It all adds up. Guys family leaves him 24 hours before? His buddy running for election is charged 5 hours before the flight takes off with sodomy..at which he was there at the court? Its the pilot right?
For the record, the 9/11-style terrorist attack concerns are due not to evidence tied to the flight necessarily (that we know of) but instead because a terror suspect last week tol. British officials of a plot by Malaysian men to hijack a plane.
There are a few theories but at this point it does appear that the pilot was involved with some sort of hijack that ended in a plane landing or crash. As for the ties between the terror plot theory (Intel received last week) and the timing of the opposition leader's trial its either not a terrorist event or everything is too well connected. It's quite possible the stolen passports were used by AL Qaeda operatives to avoid arising suspicion on that particular flight (they were Iranian and used their legal passports to enter Malaysia). Ibrahim's charges were likely political (sex crimes like sodomy are a common tactic to silence the opposition) but I personally don't see a direct like between the pilot's political views and Al Qaeda unless he perceived them as having a common enemy (the Malaysian government). Tragic events, but very interesting nonetheless.
Seeing as these are the sample people who claim they didn't know that Osama bin Laden was living right next to their top military academy, I can't really trust their word as either they are seriously incompetent or seriously corrupt.
