Nicks hasn't shown up in 2 yrs. Don't you think that's much worse? Why are you judging one game anyway? Manning couldn't get the ball to his receivers, they knew what Manning was up to. You have to take that into account.
Soxxx every time you post, it justifies being the dumbest post of the year. Are you serious with this shit? Every opinion you have is the complete opposite of everyone else. How is that even possible?
Lmao its so easy to make ridiculous statements like this. Go look at Nicks' playoff stats from 2012 on the superbowl run. 4 games, 3 of them he went over 100, 4 touchdowns (including the game changer in GB), and 10 receptions in the SB. He shined against the best. And what did Decker do? Yeah he's not a football player and hes soft lol. Hey I like the Decker signing we need him, but if I were Jets GM I would've hosted Nicks on day 2 and not let him leave without a deal. time will tell if im a fool.
bullshit, decker got the 2nd year (anyone who thinks its more than a 2 year deal is ignorant) because he is seen as reliable and a good teammate to go with the production. nicks is oft injured questionable attitude and put up pedestrian numbers 2 years in a row. nicks is more talented, i will give you that, but decker is the safer bet.
Hopefully never, but for his sake, im sure he wants to get out of here so he can win the ring he will inevitably obtain.
Well while its cool to move on and I agree this is a fan board and as a fan im totally pissed no effort was made to get the best wr available, who ended up being had for a 1 year deal bc he had to catch the ball with one good hand last year being throw. By Eli the Terrible. Now ... moving on .... We have 30+ million left why the efff is Edelman not on a 1 way flight to Florham Park? This is ridiculous!!! How can u not agree. Where is tbat money going? You cant spend it all on whats left if u tried!! And the. They wanna charge us PSL. FOH.
Could have had him cheaper, I dont recall teams going crazy for this guy. You notice Detroit didnt even bother, and thats coming from a team that has succeeded a ton better in the passing game than we have recently. They know how to judge receivers and they clearly did not see to much in Decker.
Every ranking system out there says otherwise. Don't believe in rankings? Check the stats, stats don't lie. Manning effect? Check the stats with Tebow throwing the ball 3 times a game. I don't dislike any of these receivers but facts are facts Tate had 1 good year on a stacked team Nicks had less touchdowns than Stephen Hill and was blamed for all nyg's problems James jones will probably be a jet Edleman had a breakout year but isn't enough of a priority for the team he played for So tell me who is the best FA receiver this year?
