Adam Schefter just reported Brandon Browner is reinstated by the NFL n will be a FA. If we let cro go i would love for the jets to bring him in. Hes a top 20 corner n shouldn't cost that much given his history with suspensions n everything.

In a dream world, Id love for us to cut/resign Cro to a 2-3 year deal, sign Browner n cut/trade Kyle Wilson

Browner, Cromartie, Milliner, Lankster, n Walls would be a hell of a CB group. One can only dream tho.

EDIT: he will have to serve a 4 game suspension. Schefty failed to report that in his first post. Still, id love to bring him in.

Its only 4 games. I think Cro, Milliner, n Walls could hold down the fort till he returns as the top 3 CBs then help would be on the way.

Also, having the 4 game suspension held over his head would lower his price tag even more. We made due when we traded for Holmes in 2010, this would be a great big physical corner to have at a very low price. Win-Win

Most likely going to get flamed for this but, seriously cut/trade Wilson? Because Browner may be available? I accept that Wilson will never be 'Revis', but hes still a very good rotational CB. I actually thought he looked pretty good down the home stretch and if Miliner hadn't stolen the CB headlines would have had plaudits.

Id take Browner in a heart beat,We could use a guy like him. What I don't want is a guy like Jarius Bryd who comes with a Revis like price tag.

no way, he isnt very good and really wont be very good once he figures out that you cant juice and play football.

now if he is stupid enough to get caught twice, he is obviously also a complete fucking idiot.

Yup and the 4 games hes not there wont matter, they will find a way to win. The Patriots now have as good of a corner back duo as anyone in this league.

Who thinks Browner got too much dough? The guy is one joint away from a lifetime ban probably, and he's repeatedly injured which leads to him doing roids. He's also missing the first four games of the season. Patriots are all in for this year, but I think it's going to backfire

thats a bargain if he can stay out of trouble. We should have been all over him. If we dont end up signing DRC we are in big trouble in the secondary this season.

Though some of that is fake money since he doesn't get paid for the first 8 games of this year, and the first 4 of those don't count against the cap.
