Steve Zipay@stevezipay AV: we pissed away two points mattrobinson17@mattroibinson17 No shit Sherlock!
Headscratcher: Pat Leonard@PLeonardNYDN21 mins #NYR have signed F Ryan Haggerty, 21, of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) to join #NHL roster NOW. Undetermined where he'll meet team
More stupidity on the horizon: Why sit Klein, sit Stralman... Andrew Gross@AGrossRecord1 hr Also from Carolina, @JimCerny reporting Raphael Diaz is skating with John Moore and both are working with PP2. Klein paired with Falk.
Andrew Gross@AGrossRecord4 mins Rangers report Cam Talbot will start in goal Thursday night at Minnesota.
Klein has been the second best right side defenseman since he has come over. Pair him with Staal and demote Stralman. Sit Stralman for a few games to hope that he gets the message and starts playing better. When is AV going to scratch Nash? Nash needs a wake up call. He isn't playing well enough.
Another missed game. Rangers goal was nicely executed. Kreider had the goalie completely screened and Stepan knew it. Just snapped it in. Parise's goal is disgusting. Three Wild players in front of the goal jabbing at it and no one trying to stop them, just leaving Talbot on his own. How come Nash was given two assists this game? He passed it right to the Wild player who scored. Now, I fully admit I've never played ice hockey. But I've played other games where the object of the game is to put the ball/puck/whatever into the net. And in all those games, you don't fucking pass the puck right in front of your own net.
Stralman and Nash need to be scratched tomorrow. Send a message AV. Another loss to a team that the Rangers should have beat.
Not sure what I find more alarming at this point; the fact that the Rangers are having even more trouble scoring after adding a second premier scorer or the defense getting completely lost at least once or twice per game. Between Carolina and Minnesota there must have been half a dozen 3-on-one, 2-on-none, 3-on-nones! Holy hell, what's going on with this supposed stout defensive corps all of a sudden.
Staal slipping a bit but Stralman is free falling, forwards aren't covering up either, but at least we have no offense
