If that happens today, that's about two days too late, if not worse.

That's what everyone thought when they signed Haynesworth, Ochocinco, Tebow. "ERMGAWD theyre on the PATS? They're gonna DOMINATE with Belicheck."

See you in FA next year Revis.

Wilfork refuses to restructure and asks to be released. Major blow to an already mediocre defense. I'm already feeling better.

If that is accurate, that is great news.

    I feel better already.

    Holy mother of god.

They have 12M to burn on a good corner, but not for a premier NT? Ok - I get it. He's coming off Achilles injury - just like Revis was coming off his knee injury last year. Do they even realize good NTs play deep into 30's? I am literally laughing my ass off on this one. Good luck, Bill. I hope your run D fares better somehow.

Nah, my urine is more valuable than Revis is now. Anyway, I wouldn't piss down his throat if his heart was on fire.....

One of my all time favorite quotes.... :)

To be fair I have never seen anyone say good NTs play well into their 30s. If anything I would think it is the opposite. I would think that they'd be at high risk for a knee injury in pile ups and their weight would prohibit easy and complete recovery. Moreover, all that weight is hell on the back. Then you have to factor in being in a wrestling match every single play whereas some players can go large portions of the game without much contact (although those positions tend to have fewer but harder hits). Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't think of many NTs plying into their middle or late 30s, even at a reduced level. Look at Kris Jenkins. Dude hit 30 and he was way over the hill. Now that huge dude (Washington or something) who played for the Bills played a long time. But isn't he an anomaly?

Don't let Revis being selfish and a pathetic human being take away from the great years he had as a Jet. It was a lot of fun to watch and he will go down in history as a great Jet. Odds are he will not come close to duplicating what he did as a Jet, with the Patriots. He could win the Super Bowl though.

Rex Ryan defense, Rex Ryan made. There is no "Revis island" without Rex. Revis owes a whole lot to Rex. "mumble, mumble, mumble I'm Bill Belichick, I like to watch weird video tapes of opposing teams"

yeah, yeah, Revis was great here. His team was terrible last year though and he didn't do shit. 3 picks and 4-12 record, awesome. What have you done lately? Call him the best, well his stats don't show it. I know that he got burned to lose the game against Fitzgerald, on "the island"; he got blocked out of his shoes against Carolina on Thursday night and New Orleans did everything but butt fuck him on the last game of regular season. Last 2 seasons not shit. He was injured the entire last season with us and please tell me what he did in Tampa.? He's a mercenary in the league. This has the potential to be a great sign for NE and also potential to be bad, bad bad Leroy brown.

Only if Revis gets injured it could be considered a bad signing. Revis is still great, even if he is not in his 2009-2011 prime. He will still be the best CB Belichick ever had.

Haynseworth is a bum, Ocho was a washed up reality star at that point and Tebow was playing behind Tom Brady.

Slightly different scenario than Revis who is in his prime and will be given 1/4 of the field to defend from Day 1.

He graded as the No. 2 CB in the league despite playing in zone for 5 weeks and coming off a torn ACL

?? he got burned by fitzgerald to lose a close game, he looked like a pussy against Carolina on Thursday Night and he got raped by New Orleans on the last game of the season.
