I really really really think Miles Austin will be a Jet this year. He is a folk hero in bergen county and would sell jerseys like crazy. I have no doubt Woody will insist on this.

Okay then ... your crazy. Austin has tissue paper for hamstrings and Kenny Britt is one of the biggest wastes of god given talent we have seen in recent years. Two high risk type signings ... Finley is also, but that guy is a freakin baller - so I am semi on board with that one.

Seems to me everyone is completely disregarding Hill as a Threat based on his early steps. I feel he will be much improved with a more "reasonable Offense with some weapons around Kerley" . If Hill matures this year and Decker takes some of the pressure of him his speed alone can cause some havoc and if he gets his routes straight he could put some fear on the CBs. Lets not totally disregard Hill

Im still on board with Hill not being a bust yet but after his performance so far you have to look at him as a back runner in a must compete situation. Bring someone in with a legit chance at a starting spot and
    see what hill does.

Running out of options a CB, sadly is still an area of need. If we don't get DRC I don't know who is going to play there. Walls was OK in spot duty but I am not at all confident he's ready for starting duty. Our secondary in general is ugly.

Really, really hope we don't use an early pick on a CB...again.

He could easily be a #1 in this league. I mean he has ALL the entangibles .. Tall.. Super Fast.. Crazy hops.. Who would really be able to guard him. He's everything you want in a WR. Only problem is he cant run routes or catch the ball lmao. Itslike having a sexy bitch at your house drunk and horny but shes on her period. Useless.

How would either of them be "High Risk" signings? Cause honestly we need to draft a WR anyway and those 2 have the most upside and will be the cheapest among any of the WRs that are left in the FA pool. They both know they aren't going to be signed for anything over 1M and 1 year and this is basically their last chance at the NFL. If they fuck it up they get cut and we go into the season the way it looks like we are now with the WRs we have and 1 or 2 rookies + some camp fodders. If they dont fuck it up and be the players they were not too long ago we just hit the jack pot. How is that high risk?

Can someone explain to me how DRC compares to Antonio Cromartie? Sounds like someone's going to pay DRC a ton of $$.

Im really worried about our secondary. It was awful last year and we dont even have bodies. I really wish we kept LaRon Landry.

    I laughed hard.

I wont comment on his route running cause when his knee was healthy he cuts so hard that wether he is on route or not it was instant seperation. That knee though is starting to really
look suspect. Even if he can eventually get his hands together and route timing down will he be able to stay on the field?

I would sign Sidney Rice, he will be relatively cheap and would have a lot of upside if he could play the whole season.

He's going back to Seattle. If we were to go in the old vet minimum direction it wouldn't be for awhile, probably after the draft and as late as training camp. The only vet I'd like is Cotchery. Used to be a huge fan of Miles Austin but he doesn't have much left.

This board can make some people insane, lol our fan base is one of a kind :) that said... at first I was against the Decker signing since I was convinced he was a product of the Denver offense... after much thought I came to the conclusion that I was afraid more of the money he would command, 10 mil a year as opposed to what such a talent deserved, 6 or 7.

Once I saw the final numbers as basically a 2 year deal I am totally ok with it. I'm a big believer that true number ones don't come in FA you gotta draft em... FA is there to maybe grab a 2 etc... top tier guys are few and far btwn so I'll take the contract and hope for the best.

Sidney is only 27 though. Decker turns 27 in two days, so while Rice appears to have more miles, I still think he can play at a high level. If I can get him for 4-5 million a year I would do it right now.

As far as a TE I'm cool with Ebron or a guy such as Owen Daniels in free agency Pettigrew is ok but he is no better than Winslow.

I hope we sign MJD for depth and we should look good at RB.

CB man oh man we can break our heads over and over but I'll trust our plan and see what happens.

    PS SIGN SANDERS !

Everyone is saying he is going back to Seattle, rather take a flyer on Sanders or Nicks if possible and draft a guy in round 2-4 somewhere
