Or retire like he was talking about.

I would hate to have this guy show up to camp and decide he doesnt want to play any more.

I feel like Emmanuel Sanders would secure us for Ebron in the first regardless of Pettigrew.

Sanders is visiting the Chiefs tomorrow, but we have very strong interest. Could we snatch him from 3 other teams?

So who do you use for stats considering espn says the same exact thing.

We will be adding one more receiver. We won't go into the season with who we have now and a rookie. Nicks, Jones, Sanders, Edleman one of those will be a jet. We'll still add a rookie regardless

I agree, he'd be a solid signing for you guys. I'm hoping the Patriots try to snag him.

Depends on what i'mm trying to look at.Footballoutsiders does a pretty good job of not taking baseless stats and trying to make them mean something.

A guy can throw for 100 yards in the 4th quarter in a game the Jets are winning by 20+. NFL.com counts that in their overall analysis. When in reality, when a team is up big late, they play off the ball and will give teams short passes all day for example.

Like I said, i'm not saying the Jets pass D was good, but it's easily fixable and they don't need to go out and sign a "star" CB to do so. Especially when they have a really bright defensive mind as their HC.

Add a third round pick in there too such as Jarvis Landry

    Ivory-Powell-MJD?

Solid skill group to say the least

I'd love either one before jones. Speaking of return guys.. Wouldn't mind Hester or Cribbs back on a small deal

I would love Edelman. Nothing wrong with having two guys with spectacular hands in him and Kelley

yup maybe even Hill to be honest.. he will have a lot less pressure he may flourish

crazy to think at one point in the season nelson was our #1 reciever and now he would be a #4 or 5 opition

    Well great...
@AdamSchefter: Patriots free-agent WR Julian Edelman is scheduled to visit the 49ers on Friday, per source. SF also interested in Giants WR Hakeem Nicks.
