He's a good player/clog in the middle. He should be the 2nd Irish guy taken in the draft behind Martin(Who could be a Jet).

Im not sure if anyone brought this up, but now that the CB issue is a need, imagine if we draft another CB with our 1st round pick.........

Its been brought up numerous times. I think we will go after Rodgers Cromartie. Best bang for your buck

Well if we address our WR's/TE's in FA, we can get away with it.

Dennard is a solid corner who is consistent. I would have no problem with the guy honestly. Doesn't rack up the INTs or change the game with a pick 6 but he's a real smart player who puts himself in the right spots.

    I dunno about this now.

    Read this:

DRC turned down the Broncos' offer Talib ultimately took.

If we draft another CB or DL in the first round radio city music hall may explode

he may have to take what's offered to him. you don't see much of a market for DRC right now. I don't even think he has visits scheduled.

Pay Rodgers Cromartie what he wants man. We need a corner desperately and I am NOT for drafting another one

Lets just say they sign Pettigrew,Jones, and Munnerlyn that would all likely cost 13 million .. 15 million left before a Sanchez Cut

    6 has to go.

Ridiculous. We can't pay an aging CB who might be willing to retire $54 million over six years.

If we wait a bit, and no one picks him up, his price will go WAY down (Just like Braylon Edward's price went way down during the 2010 free agency...we paid $10 mill for Holmes and Edwards ended up making just $3 mill even though they both had similar production). We just have to be patient.

Before Revis we had 17.9m in cap room, Revis counts for 7. Wilfork frees up 7.5. Math isn't that difficult, Wilfork and Revis are not related. Team + Wilfork hadn't spoken in about a week (before Revis deal materialized with any solid info) and Wilfork, after his poor start in 2013 followed by a ruptured achilles are not worth 11m this season.

I'd expect the Pats sign an agressive penetrator in the mold of Melton or Atkins to fill his spot alongside Kelly and draft for the position relatively early.

He's not demanding that amount of money. I just read that he is looking at a deal significantly lower than Talib.

If this is the case, I would much rather have DRC than a top draft pick at CB. Hopefully we can get him as cheap as Verner, because honestly he's not better than Verner. Just plays a different style.
