Maybe it's just me but I kind of got the impression Cro was/is going to be brought back at some point. In fact, unless someone ridiculously over pays him I consider it a foregone conclusion. Cro will be back in some capacity.

Signing Cro back with Munnerlyn would be pretty awesome. Two solid signings

Well yes, so would I, but it looks like Sanders is going to sign in Jax. Also Jones will most likely come much cheaper. I like Jones because hes is a big play receiver. You need one of those in a WCO. Right now we have none. Decker CAN make the big plays, but I wouldn't classify him as a big play receiver. You need that guy to keep the defense honest and open up everything underneath for the short passing game then... bam, the big play.

 So The pats will most ikely have Revis and Browner this year......

Really hope we start making a move for a CB or two soon.

I know we have a visit with Capt but hes nothing more then a slot corner. Either him or Kyle outside really fucking worries me.

Haven't read anything about that. I know the Jets are apparently pushing for him but I haven't seen anything about him visiting.

Thought on the Sproles deal and why we may not have gone after him: he's got one year left on his deal. If Idzik is truly trying to build an offense around Geno, he probably wants guys that will be here for longer than a year. Ivory, Kerley, Decker, Cumberland... all major players in the offense and all guaranteed to be here by contract. I can see Idzik opting for 2-3 years of MJD as a pass-catching back... assuming those reports were true of us being very interested in him.

Wish they would go after Edelman over Jones. Would solve the return guy problem and hurt the Pats as well.

I don't think we are making a push for Edelman because he's the same type of receiver as Kerley.

There's a chance Walls is good enough to play an outside CB. He could definitely beat out Kyle, IMO.

Is it common/uncommon for a GM to implement a new philosophy regarding one side of the ball?

In other words, could Idzik 'force' Rex to emphasize other areas of the Defense, rather than on CBs?

I have this strange feeling that somehow signing Revis will work out for the Pats in the long run but not well enough to win a Superbowl and the more I think of it the more I think to myself that somehow someway the Jets will benefit from this as some sort of karma. Favre went to the Vikins but the Packers won a Superbowl first.

no hes 5"8 and not much vertical and gets out muscled when fighting the side lines pretty consistently.
