Dennard was graded out as one of the best #2 corners in the NFL. The biggest worry would have been if he had to cover #1's. He doesn't have the size or speed to do that. He's perfect for his role he has now, and with the Revis signing he can continue to play that role. Perfectly fine if you feel that way, just pointing out that he was better than mentioned here. I'm not sold entirely on him or Logan Ryan either, I just like what they've shown (on the field only in Dennard's case) so far.
I got to watch him through his college and pro careers here in Carolina. Lots of speed, great ball hawk, but a couple times a game he would just lose focus and get burned badly. But he has the physical skills to be a very good corner most of the time, if you can get past the lapses in concentration.
