I makes us look like the classless idiots in Assachuesetts when we get down to that level. Could you imagine if people actively rooted for Bob from accounting to tear his knee because he is leaving for more money? Or hoping the kid at Burger King slips on a wetfloor because the ice machine isn't working?

No I really don't care about that, but the statement from twitter was accurate. If Revis was trying to stick it to the Jets, this would be the best way. Also to leak the Jets had contact with Revis even though it seems now Revis' camp initiated those talks to a staffer on NY, not even Idzik. If they wanted to stick it to NYJ, hypothetically, this would be a good way

If he doesn't redo they can cut him and gain $11.6 mil on the cap.

Rotoworld expects Decker to sign for about $7M-$8M per year... I think I'd take that...

Redo means pay cut. He's at the end of his current deal. I have to tell you that the idea of Revis on the edge of the Pats defense scares me a lot less than the idea of a healthy Wilfork in the middle of the field.

I believe they save $8M this year. Not sure if that $11.6M is over the life of the contract. This seems like an inevitability. Not sure where else they'd free up the cap for their draft picks and possibly another WR.

Do you really think thats the best he can do? He obviously has a plan, not saying its definitely going to work but the Jets have about $40 million in cap room. If he wanted some of the guys who signed he could have had them.

In a strange way, that makes me feel a LITTLE better......but what are we going to do now about the CB position? Cromartie? Munnerlyn? 1st round draft pick?

No but I found a bunch of articles about how he needs to watch his temper and not get 15 yard personal fouls all the time..... Lol

He gave up 4. But he only gave up 1 QB hurry compared to Howard's 15.

That's a solid deal provided it's at about 4 or 5 years. Not #1 WR money. If it's true way to stay patient Idzik.

Honestly I would be fine with Wilson and Walls duking it out for the #2 CB. Would rather see the money go to Mike Neal (OLB from Green Bay) Shore up the pass rush and it makes your secondary look a hell of a lot better. The Panthers were a top defense last year and their secondary was hot garbage.

Stop crying, Idzik is building for the future. He is not over paying players, for 1 year rentals.
