yeah honestly if people are hating on idzik because we didn't sign revis, they are crazy. it just sucks he went to the patriots if we get DRC that's a good football move there. he's a good player

This signing (if dinner is good) and the RT really seem like it's been painfully overshadowed by missing out on all the good FA DBs after losing Cro. Painful to think how close we were/are to having an all-time great defense; with Revis, our defense would have been UNREAL, our elite front 7, Revis and Milliner, Antonio Allen, ..... too good to be true I guess, smh. SO CLOSE, the story of the NY Jets........

I'd like to think that Idzik never even entertained the thought of Revis coming back. I know it may sound salty to say now but that was my perspective from the beginning. I did't want him. If he came back, great (from a talent POV) but he would have had a lot of respect to win back. It's easier now to just continue disliking Mevi$.

Schefter's about as official as it gets without a signature but the Revis camp doing something weasely wouldn't shock me either.
What good is it for one year? Pats are going for it all. Most likely a response to what Denver has been doing. They would've been better served spending that money on Ware. Pass rusher is far more valuable than CB Did the Pats restructure some contracts and I missed it? Last I checked they had just under $13M in cap space going into the season. Without restructuring that leaves them under $1M, not nearly enough to sign their draft picks. They must plan on backloading a bunch of contracts and guaranteeing salaries to guys like Wilfork and Mankins. Never a good idea
