Leger Douzable has returned to the Jets on a one-year deal, per league source. @ProFootballTalk

    Good depth signing

Douzable is a solid depth signing. No problem with it at all.

Haven't read the last 30 pages, anything interesting? Did Decker leave without signing?

Excpet he has produced at a very high level. His best days are behind him but he was a very very good WR for many years while Holmes.... maybe 2 good years

I am a fan of Revis and believe his ability to solo cover the other teams best receiver better than any team can double team that player makes him more valuable than signing 2-3 players.

That being said I am not sure it makes sense to invest that much money into a 29 year old CB on a rebuilding team. We have too many holes. We had one of the worst OLs in football last year and now its even worse. We desperately need at least 1 guard, a RT, a safety, TE, a back-up QB and 2-3 WRs. Even if Geno makes progress this year this could be a very bad team. Yes a healthy Revis will instantly make our D much better but I don't think it makes sense to invest $13+million a year long term on Revis type player until we are a more complete team. He is a guy that makes more sense for a win now team like Denver or even Seattle. Simply to keep him away form NE is not a good reason to break the bank and sign him.

I think he even makes more sense for the Browns who have a much more talented roster than we do.

Let's just hype the Revis returns to the Jets stuff through the roof even though it will never happen. Then when he signs in Cleveland or Oakland we have something else to be very unhappy about.

The odds on Revis returning to the Jets are almost non-existent. He's not going to take a reasonable salary amount if there's a windfall to be had anywhere in the NFL. There will be a windfall somewhere.

Agreed. It is a good sign he didn't leave but what is taking so long?

Imagine how genius Idzik will look if Revis comes back!?

Trade him, draft the DROY with the pick and get a 4th rounder. Revis heals his knee and then comes back a year later LMAO!

They've got him tied to a chair in the boiler room. The only way he's getting out of the building without a contract is in a barrel.

Is this true? I read a post earlier today where someone said Decker had already left.

I understand but he has holmes characteristics such as wanting the ball a lot... We dont need a wr in genos ear telling him to get him the ball

Adam Schefter reported that was false. He was still at our facility
