It's seriously mind-numbing reading this Decker discussion. Hard to believe it's actually real.

Nevermind mind what guys did in 2010... in 2014, Eric Decker would without question command the attention of the defense. That leaves Jeremy Kerley most likely man to man with a defender that he's probably quicker than. Do people not understand the WCO?

    I don't want another Kerley. I want a number 1 receiver.

I'm actually hoping we trade the Saints for Sproles. He can pass protect, return kicks, run and is a great safety valve which our inexperieinced QB could use.

I might die if Revis joins the Pats. I have a Revis jersey and my sister is a Pats fan. I might literally just stop living. Not kill myself or anything dramatic like that just literally like close my eyes and not open them again.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Decker is a better player but nobody is going to convince you of that so just accept that we can have both of them.

You're trying to prove to Jets fans that our receiver (Kerley) is a good player. We know. But Decker is better.

You don't need a number 1 receiver. But Harvin was their number 1 receiver. So ok.

My ideal situation is to go get Nicks then draft one of Watkins/Evans/Lee and have him be our number 3 or 4 to start out. So that way we don't have to depend on the rookie too much.

My point is that they are comparable. One got the luxury of playing with Peyton. So therefore his numbers looked better. Kerley played with bottom 5 QB's in Geno and Sanchez.

What makes Nicks ideal in your mind? The guy is constantly hurt, he's a headcase, and he's been on the decline. So Decker = bad but Nicks = ideal?

He didn't play as their number 1 receiver for a large majority of their season. That's the point. They won the Super Bowl without a strong #1 receiver because their supposed strong #1 receiver was injured.

Unless you think his presence somehow lifted the team in which case lol.

Kerley also lined up at a different position against different CBs in a different offense. You can't compare the two as directly as you're trying to.

Good receivers get open and catch balls. Kerley does that in the slot and Decker does it on the outside. They're both good and I'd like to have them both.

Im from Colorado, Ive watched Decker a lot. Decker better not be a #1 WR for us, he can't handle double teams at all. So we'd still need help on top of Decker. I'm good with signing Decker, but we still better draft a WR in the 1st Round.

When's the deadline where Revis will be cut? Like when the 3rd becomes a 4th? Is it 4 pm?

Nicks in the past=proven to be a capable number 1 receiver.

Decker= never proven himself to be a number 1 receiver and he benefitted from playing with Peyton.

The Jets= Don't have anything close to a number 1 receiver. If we had one and then we bring in Decker then great.

The Jets= Due to the lack of weapons on the offense almost by default Decker would be our number 1 receiver. He is not a number 1 receiver.
