Decker has been productive his entire career.
He's stronger and taller then Kerley. I want Kerley to be our slot man anyway. Kerley is definitely more explosive and runs crisper routes.

I want Golden Tate to visit the Jets. I would rather pay him 8m for his services. He's a better blocker, can return punts and he's a good catcher. He does it all. He's my #1 FA

Or fuck it get them both lol

The Raiders gave Roger Saffold an insane amount of money when they had a better OT in Veldheer. We are miles above that crap.

Giving a guy ~7M isn't so bad considering Sam Shields and Vontae Davis set the market for CBs and they got 10M$ to try to stop WRs.

What do you think? If we can give Decker credit for putting up 618 yards with Tebow and Orton then we can give Nelson credit for putting up 600+ yards with Fitzpatrick. Is that correct?

Kerley is more explosive? why does Decker have a higher avg and so many more TDs? he had 8 TDs w/ awful QBs throwing him the ball in 2011, that's 2 more than kerley TOTAL in 3 years.

I love Kerley, he's a good player but on a good O he is a 3rd option, he's been our top option.

And what has Nelson done since that?

What has Decker done? Two thousand yard seasons and 20+ TDs in two years lol

Meh. Tebow got lots of running yardage, but he was not gaining much through the air with anyone at receiver.

Anyway Smith is a better Qb than Tebow, albeit not as good as Orton. I still don't get your hatred for Decker, and in fact am not going to waste my time with you on it, since I don't see that you have yet to post a single fair comment about him.

You know better than that, the Bills under Fitzpatrick played a ton of spread and Tebow had a game or two that season where he completed like 2 fucking passes. Just stop it Decker can play and is a major upgrade to our receiving core.

Not to mention that Ruth was younger and entering the prime of his career, whereas Revis is older and on the downside of his career.

Kerley is a number 3 and is a better talent than Decker. But Jets fans think Decker is an upgrade. Perspective is a motherfucker. If Decker was here putting up Kerley numbers, while Kerley is in Denver putting up 1000 yards and 10+ TD's you all would probably think Kerley was better I guarantee it. Funny.

He had an excellent play-caller in Josh McDaniels don't forget that. Also, they had some weapons on that offensive side of the ball to take the pressure off Decker. He's received far more targets and has had more of an opportunity to produce.

We don't get the ball to Kerley nearly enough as he should be getting

You see the coverage Decker had in the Super Bowl? well thats the coverage he will see here in NY because he will be getting the best CB on him.

Nelson tore his knee up in 2012 and missed the entire year. Then he got cut by Buffalo and Cleveland. Then the Jets picked him up and he was effective. During that time span Decker remained healthy and got the luxury of playing with Peyton while sitting across from a real number 1 receiver in Thomas.

I would love to go after Edelman as well.

I forgot he is on the market.

    McDaniels was fired in 2010.

we can keep trying to make excuses all we want, the man was productive w/ Tebow/Orton and he's a much better player now.

I don't know what fans expect, do you think Calvin Johnson is available? we need WRs, there are a bunch of #2 types out there including Decker.

Kerley is a slot receiver... He's much better than Nelson! Better hands, tougher and runs way better routes.
