Dude, I think he had a lot of success from Manning and is a "product" of him as well, but to sit here and say he is not very good is ridiculous lol

I get it, you don't want the guy but any human being can watch his game play and stats and determine that this guy is an excellent receiver.

Yea and they have weapons at WR and TE. Jets have no weapons and people are complaining.

Why are people so concerned with who our #1 guy is? I don't think you need an absolute hands down #1 guy to win as long as you spread your talent around the field. If we can get a good WR and TE in the draft and have something like Decker, Kerley, Lee/Benjamin, Cumberland, Ebron/Amaro/Jenkins. That looks fine to me. You don't need a Megatron to win.

Hell, the Seahawks had Tate, Rice, Baldwin and a game or two of Harvin. That's not exactly all-world.

Victor Cruz is much more explosive. And not to bring up (your favorite) stats but his numbers are better than Nicks over the past three years nearly all across the board. I guess the bottom line for me is I'd rather the guy whose career is on the upward trend and not oft-injured than hoping for some reversal of the trend. Hoping is what gets you a bad contract extension for Mark Sanchez, drafting Stephen Hill and Vlad Ducasse.

Garçon is a good comparison, Reggie was always a number 1 and high pick (D.thomas). That said, I would take Decker as long as he can be had for 5-6 mill per 3-4 years

LMFAO!! I KNOW RIGHT!! BECAUSE WE LACK WEAPONS MEANS WE TOTALLY SHOULD OVERPAY FOR #2 AT BEST. IT'S NOT LIKE WE JUST CUT OUR OWN #2 at 8M A YEAR BECAUSE HE WAS OVERPAID OR ANYTHING.

Oh yeah? Show me why. Give me one ounce of proof that he is not and I will believe you. Not a opinion, a piece of actual proof.

Yeah but at se point we have to overpay for some players. We can't be completely frugal at every position. I don't want to overpay for a safety or a running back or a 3rd WR.

I want to overpay for good young tackles. One of the most important factors for our offense IMHO is less the lack of playmakers and more about the protection. Geno will improve next year just as a matter of h maturing, and we'll add some playmakers in FA and the draft.

I really wanted some continuity on the line. I would have overpaid for Howard.

Because we are concerned that it will take #1 money to get Decker to sign on the dotted line. Especially since his numbers are inflated from playing with Peyton and he knows we desperately need help at WR.

I'm amazed that a team with no playmakers that we have we could be complaining about anyone like Decker possibly getting signed. Should we stick with Salas and Hill maybe bring Clowney or Marks old friend Scotty back?
