Do negotiations go on 24/7? Is there still a possibility of signing/resigning someone tonight, or should we all just reserve our comments for tomorrow?
Yea I can't see revis going to the pats if we offer him more, which there's a good chance we will. Revis "wants" to be on the patriots the same way he "wanted" to be a jet for life.
MJD rushed for 3.4 ypc last year. He is closed to washed up and will be an old 29 a the start of the season (lot of miles on his legs). Also, our O-Line it wretched. Donald Brown was the guy to get, but again...Idzik asleep at the switch
Well if he gets traded to Pats, there's nothing we can do. If he gets cut then it's open bidding and your scenario takes place. Revis isn't cut yet
How exactly would we look like fools considering we got the DPOY in Sheldon Richardson and a 4th round pick essentially for free if we got Revis back?
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 38s Jets making strong push to sign Seahawks free-agent OT Breno Giacomini, who's on his way to visit team Wednesday. Anyone know of this guy?
Not to mention that if we even get involved it will probably be for less than the $12 mill we offered before we traded him
not really since we will probably offer him something similar to what we would have last year. 11-12M per.
shouldn't have let cro go unless we had a player in place… i don't under stand… we had 3 fucking days over the weekend the negotiate with players,, if we never cut cro and heard all these rumors nobody would have given a shit about all the corners… now we are desperate for one that were going to try and get the one we traded away or ask cro to come back after we missed out on a free agent cb again like in 2011
Seriously, even if we had Revis last year we wouldn't have won the SB or gone deep in the playoffs, hell we may have not even made the playoffs still. It's like we traded away a guy for one year we knew would be a bad year to get the DROY in return, the Jets need to bring this guy back and come off as the ultimate victors of the trade.
