Safe CMAN....again..back end snows if you have been reading but I wouldnt count on it.

Now, for all..there will be a hairy few hours when the storm passes you and winds go from southwest/south to northwest and temps drop 30..in some cases 40 degrees in a matter of 4 to 6 hours.

M...let me tell you something. Im a guy that loves snowstorms..love them. All I can say is no..you can not. I would love to say yes...but wait until next week. Whether it snows twice or does not...winter aint budging next week..and that really truly sucks big time.

Not sure if you will get accumulations FJF but I would be very surprised at some point if snow was not falling from the sky for you and many more. Short duration..but it should snow.

South trend is not happening CBG. Right now, the forecast sticks. Dont get me wrong, I would not be surprised if some got an inch or two at the end..maybe a bit more...BUT UP NORTH? They will be getting the biggest storm of the year and that includes the country.

    Real quick write up:

Rain starts tomorrow and comes down heavy tomorrow night with winds really picking up. Temps in central and south jersey may get close to 70 degrees! Then the cold front comes through..dont be surprised to see lightning and hear thunder. Then perhaps some snow at the end.

Now, up north...20-30 inches of snow.

Now tomorrow night we will live cast a bit and watch the radar for the changeover and storms to come through..then a break.

Now..before anyone loses it...this storm tomorrow was at one time aimed for us. While the models show 2 big storms next week too...we maybe can get around them? Told you guys loved the setup for next week. One thing we cant get around is the temps..winter will be here big time for another 10 to 14 days. Some records will be broken..and sorry about that.

well we lost a lot of snow today and should lose a lot more tomorrow, i guess the cold temps won't be so bad if most of the snow is gone. atleast we look like we are getting close to spring

Good point FJF..but the models for next week? They actually make ME sick. EURO and GFS both have significant storms Monday and Wednesday. One of those is going to hit. The setup is...lets just wait and see.

With the amount of cold air in place all week, they both could FJF..they could. I dont think both will though bud.

Man..would love to be up in the ski resorts today and tonight..wow...some areas will get over 30 inches. Amazing thing about this storm is that it is a triple phaser...for us..it basically will be phasing pretty much over our heads. Rain snow line is past Albany but crawling south so it looks like many get on and off snow showers..some heavy..overnight.

Again, temp drop records will be broken all over the place. Temps in north jersey will go from 55 to 17 in 6 hours. Tomorrow morning will be very cold and wind chills near 0.

Its not a long lasting very cold period. Temps go to near 40 on Friday but do not go much higher after that. Then next week..temps well..well below normal and we watch to see if we luck out and keep 2 disturbances just south of us..or if one of both crawl north.

Is Saint Patricks day this Sunday? Hmmm...interesting. Just saw the model runs for Sunday night/ Monday. Since today is Wednesday, it should be taken seriously now.
