We haven't had a signing in 10 minutes. Is the first wave of free agency officially over?

Yeah I don't get the panic, none of the guys we're looking at have signed elsewhere. If Verner, Byrd, a few WRs and a QB or two (i.e. Vick or whoever) get signed then we are in a shitty spot. My main concern is now our line which I honestly thought wouldn't be a big issue but with Howard possibly leaving and all the OTs getting huge contracts it doesn't look good.

Don't believe everything you read. The Jets have laid the ground work for signings and visits well in advance.

Yes, it won't hurt your chances now, but overpaying for good (not great) FA talent will only cripple your franchise down the road. All you have to do is look what happened to us after 2010.

Who are these few younger guys at RT?

Austin Howard was our best offensive lineman last season, to let him go and disrupt the chemistry of the line (again) is dumb. he's young and has plenty of upside.

ravens btw wanted nothing to do with Oher, they paid Eugene Monroe some major cash.

I am very nervous so far

Ware is old, overrated, on the decline, and will command a lot of money. No thanks.

yes, that was to ensure we wouldn't lose him and they agreed on a multi year deal so he should be here for a while.

Folks deal has to clear up close to a million off the cap. The franchise tag had him slated as 3 mill a year.

Anyone expecting a "dream team" level of FA signings is going to be sorely disappointed. I'm not expecting too many additions and particularly not the high-demand choices of Byrd and others.

@ProFootballTalk: Source tells PFT the Raiders are not pursuing Darrelle Revis, but the Browns are. Damn Cleveland!
