As long as aggressive doesn't equate to reckless, which I doubt it does, that's fine. Know what you want/need and aggressively pursue it.
It's an interesting list but you have only to read the LaMarr Woodley blurb to realize that it's aimed at the casual fan not at people who understand the game.
ProFootballTalk @ProFootballTalk 5m Report: Jon Asamoah will land with Falcons http://wp.me/p14QSB-9qNc
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/11/report-jon-asamoah-will-land-with-falcons/ Well...maybe we can get the Chiefs guard who replaceed him (Geoff Schwartz)?
Vet QB CB #2 WR Not sure about anything else in FA at this point. The Jets have a lot of picks coming up in the draft and the ability to overload picks to try to find a cheap OLB, RT, FS alternative if they don't think they already have that guy in house. I think they'd sign Howard to a reasonable deal if the opportunity was there however it's hard to keep a guy from looking around in his one window to get a big deal and that's where Howard is right now. We'll see what the market bears on him. Odds are it's more than the Jets are willing to pay.
very overrated player playing w/ elite talent around him. I'd be fine w/ him as a backup but a guy like that wants to start.
To be perfectly honest, I'm not at all impressed with any of the WRs in this class. I'd rather not sign an average WR and sign him to be a very good one.
I disagree. 90+ rating for 5 years prior to the 2013 year. He's past his prime but at this stage in his career he's still a few notches above a game manager and would be a perfect fit with our good defense and running game.
And then what? Start from square one in 2 years?? I want a QB for the long term.. Lets let Geno go out there and play and make his mistakes and learn from them... We are delaying the inevitable by bringing in McCown and letting him start.. .We need a franchise QB not a stopgap.
Kristian Dyer @KristianRDyer 8m Not shocking, league source tells me "Jets won't be a player for Revis unless they strike out on other targets & likely not then." #nyjets
Kimberley A. Martin @KMart_LI now Jets were interested but weren't gonna offer big $ MT @JosinaAnderson: DE Michael Johnson has agreed to a 5yr, $43.75M deal w 24M gtd w Bucs Very interesting... I thought we were set on the D-Line.
