Jones-Drew on a relatively cheap two year contract might be a good deal. He's got a lot of wear and tear on him and he's hitting the crack of doom for a RB this year so cheap short deal is the place to go. It'd be great watching Peter King break his back trying to pivot from MJD is great to throwing backhanded compliments at him because he was a Jet.
I would take MJD for 2 seasons on a cheap ass deal. He's had seasons where he caught 50 balls, he could come in handy.
Verner to the Pats scares me... Byrd to the Rams seems like a lock... Man it would be nice to get both at $8 per!
Yeah where are you seeing this? I was just reading that no one has a clue where he will end up. Browns apparently are very high on him.
They got the cap space, the need and have been in almost every rumor... I just hope to god its not the fish...
He means that we can drop Sanchez any time in the next few weeks (before he gets his bonus). We have to sign Howard TODAY because otherwise he becomes a free agent.
I read that Denver and New England is really high on Verner. If we don't get him I hope NE doesn't either.
It just doesnt strike me as NE spending big money on anybody thats not already on their team. When was the last big FA signing they had?
I'm not too worried about New England and Denver. They both are looking to resign their current corners. We clearly have a need. In Verner's eyes, we are the clear one who is a definite go for starter
But we let go of our corner and they just let go of their corners as well. Verner is an upgrade over what the Jets, Pats and Broncos had last year.
