Idzik has no connections with Toon,Cro or Sanchez. So this make all the sense in the world and it free's up a TON of cap money. I see Toon as a Raider. Dirty is next.
It's not only that Idzik is releasing guys as they should be, but he is clearly going after quality talent in places we need. He's got his finger on the trigger and so far his aim is spot on
A good day just got better ! So glad to read this ! I hope you land with Brady and the Pats and I can get double pleasure out of watching our linebackers and def backs pound you !
I would like to hear from Barcs on this matter Let's get some young hungry wide-outs and let's GET TO WORK! Man looking forward to tomorrow so much.
Hell yeah!! I've never been this excited for an offseason. I was pumped with Tanny, but he was spending on shit and drawing horrible contracts. I'm stoked to see what Idzik does considering he seems to have a strong grasp on contracts. Should be fun man!
Idzik doesn't understand that it takes more than a year to come back from that injury. What a dumbass.
Lmao I guess you haven't been a jets fan for a long time (longtimejetsfan) because santonio would've been released last offseason if it wasn't for the guarnteed money. When we were good and he was playing for a contract Santonio was awesome. Then he got paid and was a terrible guy to have in the locker room and apparently even the huddle. The last two years he's been awful. Foot injury doesn't give him an excuse to drop wide open passes that even Stephen Hill could catch.
He made some big plays for us. I'm appreciative of that, but it is definitely time to move on. Keep going Mr. Idzik.
Sanchez is still a Jet. At this point the team should do what is in the best interest of the team. Best thing to do at this point is see how the FA QB market shakes out. If they get a vet in on a reasonable deal then they can cut him or maybe Sanchez sees the market is not that strong for him and decides to take a cap friendly restructure or last and probably least likely maybe the FA QB market dries up quick leaving a team looking for a vet back up stuck and end up offering a late rd pick for Sanchez. I don't see any benefit to cutting him quickly
Holmes is finally gone, thank you football gods,I liked Holmes his first two seasons but between injurys and nonsense he's become a shadow of himself. Thanks for the memories see ya later.Hopefully the executioner is getting ready to put the Ax to Sanchez next
Conspicuous in its absence here is any "handshake deal" with a successor. As far as Sanchez is concerned, where is all the "inside info" on all the teams who have an interest?
