It's gotta be brother... With us most likely getting Verner, do you think we go for Byrd?? As much as I want Byrd, I don't think they are coming away with both of them. As a consolation, I wouldn't be upset with Clemons at FS and Allen at SS.

I don't think so. I think we might go after a guy like Clemons. Cromartie is reporting that Allen will be the next Ed Reed, so I'm sure Rex and Co. thinks the same. Also I just read the Dolphins are pushing hard for Byrd. A lot of teams seem to be.
If Idzik would just open his checkbook a little more and also get Byrd, we would instantly have the best defense in the league.. Overnight.. We have the money to bring them both in... How can he pass up on this??

many reports have came out and said that byrds agents leaked the dolphins interest because there not getting alot of action and want to use them as leverage... like alex smith did, and jim harbaugh..haha
I'm going to have to watch some Verner highlights tomorrow as I'm not overly familiar with him. How would people describe his play? Stengths and weaknesses, physical player or more sound as far as position is concerned, etc. I guess I should wait until it's confirmed we have him signed or I'm just wasting my time haha
