All you have to do is read my man. There have been numerous reports that the Jets are showing interest in a couple big name Free Agent TEs and that they like Ebron a lot in the draft. I think it is safe to say they are looking for a starter elsewhere.
The best one I've ever had Playerline. It combines every source into one app with updates. Awesome source
Sweet man thanks, I'll give it a try. I've been really into the app called Football Summit, which I love.
TE is a position to stack w/ talent due to the reasonable salaries & high injury rate. Cumberland is ideal as a #2 TE. He stretches the field & won't cost you an arm & a leg. He's truthfully one of my favorite current Jets.
Your app was called Fantasy Sports, made BY Playerline I believe. (if it was the right one) I just got to work, so don't have time to fiddle with it, but I'm excited. The app I told you about has about 40-70 sources that you can go thru and checkmark which ones you want news from. I only have about 20 or so checked, and news rolls in every few minutes. The only downside is that it's usually about other teams, and often gets repeated. On the bright side though, you can check it very often, and always be up to date.
Cumberland is a good number 2 TE. I'm leaning on drafting Ebron if they sign 2 receivers in free agency.
#2, #1, such frivolous designations that will sort themselves out in camp, what Cumberland is is a solid receiving threat that brings continuity that can very easily be an above average TE this year. he may not be a projected high end player like Ebron, but he's subtly been improving his game over the years and I'd trust him to contribute better than any rookie out of the gate.
I seem to remember that NE were pissed that he left. I think they were fannying around with roster space or something.
For once we are building good depth...should be a friendly contract for Jets and allows us to go into FA and Draft with options
Nice resigning. Cumby everyone will look better surrounded by more talent. With no great down field threats, everything close to the LOS suffered.
I see Cumberland as a hold the fort kind of guy, I'm hoping we sign or draft a top end pass catcher but if no-one is available then we can survive another year with Cumberland atop the depth chart. And if we do get a top TE this offseason then Cumberland is a pretty decent number 2 TE. If you want to be a total homer, Cumberland had solid numbers despite poor play from the QB position. If Geno improves then Cumberland could have 600+ receiving yards a season. And lastly, I'm happy for him. How many times do we see a young promising UDFA suffer a season ending injury which ultimately ruins the players career? When he tore his Achilles I thought his career would be over before it started. But here he is getting a multi year contract, nice to see a guy overcome the odds.
I passed Idzik a note during mass last night that read: Cumberland? He looked over at me and raised 2 fingers. I felt better.
