He just won best actor for Dallas Buyers Club. Well deserved my friend! Well deserved! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
What an episode! Sheets getting intense, wish there were more episodes but can't wait for next Sunday!
Kinda spoiled it for myself by looking on IMDB after episode 5 and seeing Errol the lawnmower man as part of the cast for the last two episodes. But then again this show isn't about who the killer is, but the revolving stories of all those questioned and involved in the case...always about the journey and never the destination
Man I knew it...Can't wait for next week. MM winning the oscar while this show airing is just a capper on a perfect run here for him
un...f'in...believable....that was great stuff. That is what making a series is all about. Just snuck up on you. The first 10 minutes its plodding along and then boom. He puts that video on and before you know it you realize you are watching something really special. Wish these 2 guys would go on forever in these roles. Wow...great great T.V. Thanks again guys for this recommend. Anyone that has not watched it, you are in for something very special.
A trend for HBO shows is that the penultimate episode usually contains the high impact events. True Detective avoided this and the finale seems to be leading up to great things. I feel like MM really repeated the circle theme and that will come into play the final episode.
Such an awesome show. Kind of disappointing that next week is the last time we see Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson together. I kinda wish they kept them on board. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
from what i read this is what is called an anthology series. that means that each season will be completely different. different location, different cast, different case, etc.
Read the same thing. I guess it works..but you wonder if they knew it would be this ON, if there was an attempt to keep both guys locked up. I guess those 2 guys not wanting to lock into a series instead of doing their movie thing. MM has become hot again. So I get that I guess.
Great episode. Those two guys together are outstanding. The video scene was incredible and I loved the way MM blew off Monahan--get lost, you're classying up the joint. _
This is something I missed from an earlier episode. It's a screen grab. If you want to solve or figure out True Detective on your own, do not open link. If you want to see what you missed, this is impressive how it got sneaked by. ALSO SPOILER THROUGH EPISODE 7. http://i.imgur.com/IGNFN9n.png PS. Be very careful looking and reading about True Detective. Someone leaked what would happen in episode 7 and was really spot on and that same person release stuff about episode 8. I haven't read it, but I've see warnings elsewhere it's out there, so here's a warning to all of you
I'm trying to figure out whether that lawn cutter we saw in the earlier episode is the same lawn cutter that we saw in the last scene Sunday night. If it's not--it's way too coincidental. If it is, would not Cohle have remembered meeting someone with scars on his mug? I gotta go find that scene and watch it again. It's gotta be the same guy, right? Kind of the same story he told about the church closing and him cutting a bunch of different lots? _
I think it's the same guy. Rememeber Cohle was distracted the first time and the guy had a scruffy beard I think
I'm thinking it has to be, right? No way there are two diferent dullards cutting grass for the same organization years apart with the same story. _
