I was raised a Muslim. But I don't practice the religion. I never pray or fast or go to mosque. But I believe in God. I also think like Cman when it comes to relationship with God.

Yeah I find that type off information fascinating. When you think about what "free will" actually is. Perhaps, man fought against them, and won their freedom. Either that or they left when they had enough resources, thus giving us free will and expecting to be worshiped until they returned. You are right, they are Sumerian deities. The dead sea scrolls mention them as well calling them fallen angels. But looking at the universe as a whole, it doesn't answer the question of universal creator. They might have been believed to be gods, but if they are just physical beings from another planet, that traveled here via technology, they wouldn't be gods. And if they came back, they might not expect to see us as advanced as we are. "Be fruitful and multiply so that in 8,000 years when we return, there will be plenty of slaves to harvest." They might be in for a shock. Maybe they don't have technology that great if they can only visit us when their planet gets close. It makes you wonder. I still believe the truth of it all is buried out there in Egypt or Iraq somewhere.

See what I have always found most fascinating is how certain things have been important AMONGST all cultures who had no contact with each other? Why is gold so valued? it doesnt matter what culture, from any time period, Gold has been sought after. WHY? Then you look at these dragon/reptilian figures that have appeared everywhere, China, Japan, India, Russia, North America South America, EVERYWHERE. Is it coincidence that all these cultures just thought of the same mythical creature? I dont think so. Why did they all worship them are give them importance. Its no coincidence. Then if you look at pyramids, how did all these cultures come up with the same idea, NONE had contact with each other. It just doesnt make sense other than the fact that perhaps it is ingrained in our minds due to something in the humans past that forced them to adapt. It has to be some sort of evolutionary adaptation that humans adopted EARLY on and that explains why it spread throughout the world. All humans value gold, all humans know of a dragon, and all humans know of a pyramid.

I could get into an endless debate on aliens though :)

I am a HUGE believer in the extra- terrestrial beings and have researched it all years on end. It has become a hobby for me to just read and watch everything possible on them to try and understand everything. This thread isn't about that, but it's about beliefs, and that's what I believe

well there are billions of stars - each one potentially having satellite bodies revolving around it - i would bet that at least one can have the appropriate building blocks of life we know, eg carbon etc etc, or some other exotic molecule we dont know about.

Yup. I'm of the belief that people are ignorant if they deny the possibility of other life. Too big of space for just one life form.

1.) I believe in God..(Jehovah) as the bible calls him.

2.) his purpose for humans to live on earth in paradise conditions with no death, sickness, pain, or wickedness as explained in the bible.

3.) and his temporary tolerance of human suffering, due to an accusation of very great importance that one of his former angels, brought against him as explained in the bible.

4.) soon all of the damage that was caused by that accusation will be undone due to the accusation being proved wrong, therefore setting a precedent for any future accusation against Gods way of doing things, as explained in the bible.

    That's what I believe.

That's pretty interesting. Are you referring to Satan / Lucifer accusing Jehovah of being an unjust tyrant? It's interesting because god did do some questionable things early in the bible. The great flood is one example of many. It seems Lucifer spoke out and started a rebellion against him and was thrown in jail (hell) for it. But who knows, maybe that's why free will came about. I love pondering about that stuff. Do you believe Yahweh and Jehovah are the same entity? I appreciate you sharing.

this was made in 1977 by IBM. it shows us just how small we really are, and that whatever created the world as we know it is not something that needs human beings to worship, kneel, stand, bow, genuflect, refrain from eating red meat on Fridays, etc. etc. etc., nor does the creator need to rest on any day be it the 1st or 8th day, for it can't possibly time itself on how fast the world spins and faces the sun. that's just me though, what do you guys think? it's a cool video. check it out..........

You gotta aim for either of its axilla. The rest of its body is protected with reptile skin.

Ah, I always wondered about that. I've seen a lot of variations of the reptilians. Did they evolve on earth during the dinosaur times and have to evacuate at the end of the Triassic or were they always on the Nibiru planet that orbits the brown dwarf that supernovaed and was mostly consumed by our current sun during the formation of our current solar system? They'd either be way older than us or ridiculously way older than us.
