While you are on hold..with the dynamics of this storm..and the locations of White Plains and Hartford...there is no way it could be bad in Hartford and not bad in White Plains. No way.

Now it could end up being bad in both spots..doubt it..but it could.
Could end up being ok in both spots...but if all things are the same..it could be worse in White Plains than Hartford...but cant be worse in Hartford than White Plains...Kabeesh?

That gives you the best odds..no doubt.

storm comes in southwest to northeast. Here is the difference between the 2 places...Im sure you get why you want to fly out of Hartford just in case:
    LINK: http://www.mapquest.com/#fd96f338017a94cf4141d0bf''

screw it..that link doesnt work...but hartford is 100 miles to the northeast from white plains..no brainer buddy.

Jay, my B'Law sez they're getting 8-14" in West Mizzou tomorrow into Sunday. That sounds about right but perhaps a bit heavy? If not, that lines us up for a crusher of a storm doesn't it.

This thing has trended so far south....still going to get snow up here but the big snows are now in Atlantic City.

Will try to update once during the day tomorrow but something tells me the local media will be doing a big oops too. for us up here as far as foot snows.

Again..snow Sunday through Monday...just that the huge numbers MIGHT be south of us.

and now the GFS brings it back north a bit..and stronger. Not over yet. My guess is that it comes back to the big numbers. All winter long that has been the case. I cant tell you how many times I came on here to say...guys this is a bust earlier today.

You just cant do it....trends of the winter. So lets see where this ends up. Will be leaving in a few hours so AM Jets or anyone else..keep up the great work if you can post a few maps during the day. Might be on around 5pm and then will be on fulltime around 1am Sunday morning..maybe midnight Saturday.

JON...this was a great move you made...you will see that Monday morning.

    THE GFS:

And here is last nights run of the GFS...so you can see the north change. ABOVE IS THIS MORNING...BELOW IS LAST NIGHT

    LAST NIGHT:

And one last thing...the GFS and NAM continue to hint at a 2 pronged hit. First Sunday/Sunday night with a smaller hit and then Monday morning until Monday evening. The huge question and its huge is whether the models go back totally to a event as posted above or does it go even a bit further back to what it had 24 hours ago...a shutdown storm for Monday that would cause major problems for Tuesday.

Will not be on today for the 1030 am gfs OR the 100pm EURO so will not be able to check trends. Will try to get on around 5pm but will be late at night Saturday. So if any posters are around the can post those models for others to see...go for it!

If not..will post them around midnight tomorrow. Should be interesting as we now have a spread in models between 4 to 8 and just south towards Newark, N.J. of over a foot.

Timing again is Sunday light..perhaps a bit of moderate snow towards evening...but travel should be fine...and then how heavy does it get early Monday morning.

JON up north...you should be ok..you will probably fly over the heavy stuff bud.
