    Lmao

Who cares if Harbaraugh is better than Carroll. Does it really fuckin matter which is the best?

They both are having a great career and have coached some awesome teams. You can decide who is better at the end of both their careers. Does it matter who is better either way? lol

Unless it is the New York Jets head coach, I can honestly give a fuck.

    My personal view.

9ers would be fools to get rid of Harbaugh. He's one of the few I'd take over RR right now at this time. Some of the schemes he's installed in that SF offense are pure genius, and he's had 3 highly successful seasons to start his career there. No idea why they'd even consider getting rid of him.

Major fools, this guy has been able to coach both defense and offense at a very high level. He has gotten a lot from 2 different QBs. It would be nearly impossible to replace him with any other free agent head coach. I know they would have tried to pull Shaw out of Stanford but Shaw is no lock (although he has been receiving the same praise Harbaugh got before he left for the NFL)

First of all, both Carroll and Harbaugh are great coaches.

But to say something like "Carroll had a pro team at USC" shows you have no clue about the guy. USC was an absolute shit hole before he came. They were horrible for over two decades. He not only turned them around, quickly, but he built an absolute dynasty there.

Secondly he is the GM in Seattle. Most of the guys who you just saw destroy Denver were his picks/trades/acquisitions. He is a defensive coach who just won a title with a once a decade level defense.

Harbaugh was a freak at Stanford, and did the impossible there. He is a miracle worker with QBs, and made SF instantly into a top 5 NFL team.

That said, most of the guys on that team he inherited: Gore, justin Smith, Willis, Bowman, the OL, Davis, Brooks. He did a great job with them, but he walked into a loaded team with a half dozen pro bowlers. He is not the GM, and frankly I'm not a believer in Kaep, and Harbaugh made his bed with Kaep.

Head to head they have been close throughout their careers. But now that Carroll has the team he built, he's winning more often.

Finally, Carroll beat Harbaugh when it mattered most, and then won a ring in dominant fashion.

Harbaugh is a top 5 coach; Caroll is a top 3 coach. Can't argue it wth any actual data.

He was an outstanding recruiter and a rah-rah guy, but he built a dirty program--he had pro athletes on his roster, and if you think it was just Reggie Bush then I don't know what to say.

Very convenient leaving for the pros when he did after saying for years how much he loved the college game, southern california, didn't need the NFL and how money wasn't an issue.

How soon after he left that USC got basically almost the death penalty-- under his watch and had a National Championship stripped. He left that school holding the bag. That is not a great coach in my view. That was a program he built, but not entirely because of his coaching abilities.

I would like to know who is picking the players in San Fran. If you look at the 2011 draft, it is SUPERB, whoever did it, did a great job. Harbaugh seems to want control but honestly if the general manager was the one who had the final decision, I dont see why he would be mad?

I mean look at this draft:

    -Aldon Smith
    -Colin Kaepernick
    -Chris Culliver
    -Kendall Hunter
    -Daniel Kilgore

Such a superb draft, if Harbaugh is upset that the general mangager isn't picking the players he wants, then Harbaugh is making a mistake because that GM has done a remarkable job. If Harbaugh is the one with the major input then I dont see why he would be mad, clearly he wants full power in picking the players which he might not be good at, but who knows really. Belichick is a great coach but cant pick players it seems.
