Hey time will tell, but I rank my coaches by Super Bowl wins. Thats the goal in the job description. Carroll has completed the job, Harbaugh has not. Yes he's younger, yes he's won a lot very early, but again he hasnt achieved what 31 other guys have achieved. Not for nothing either but his team in 2012 was argueabley the best team in the league, and he did not win with that team. Carroll has gotten a 1 seed, Carroll has gotten the best record in the league, Carroll has won the Super Bowl, Harbaugh has yet to accomplish any of that yet and it is not easy to do.
John has one he got in year 5 after 2 title game apps and winning at least one playoff game every year since he started.
John has done a lot but a Super Bowl win is just something you can't assume he's going to win. Heck even keeping up with getting to title games is something you cant assume either.
He made one w/ Smith when people thought he was done, he made 2 w/ kaepernick who I still don't think is very good. he was a play away from 3 SBs and they had all the distractions this year including their best defensive player in Aldon Smith. The man is the best coach in the game, I wouldn't doubt him. Is he a lock to win one? if I was betting I'd bet for him but we'll see. if he keeps losing title games he gets knocked down a peg or 2 but right now I think he's the best.
they didn't even get a 1 seed in the NFC so I don't think they had the best team. switch the coaches in the title game and Atlanta goes to the SB.
They were fully capable of getting the 1 seed, perhaps the coach is to blame as to why they didnt get the 1 seed or as to why they didnt win the Super Bowl. All I know is they were the favorites to win it and they didn't. Atlanta came out of nowhere and managed to win a ton of close games, they were not the better overall complete team, they managed to win more games though.
Ok child. It took Carroll 8 years as a head coach and 20 years since he first became an NFL head coach to win a SB- he's basically sucked until he got paired with a dominant D and a dominate home court advantage and in 3 years Harbaugh has been so much more successful. You really can't be this stupid, can you? _

Harbaugh is going to have to improve because clearly he has not been good enough to win a Super Bowl, if he had been good enough, he would have one right now Carroll improved, 13-3 is no fluke, #1 seed is no fluke, winning a Super Bowl is no fluke either. Harbaugh had the most complete team and did not win, that falls on his coaching ability above anything else. When Carroll had the most complete team, he won, Harbaugh lost.
You need to grow up and stop looking at small sole sizes and absolutes. Harbaugh is a superior coach to Carroll in every respect. Carroll is a middle of the pack coach, Harbaugh is top tier and moving towards elite. Harbaugh never had the failure at any point I'm his career that Carroll did. Seriously you sound like a child. _
