Right now, the Wizards are 5th, and could easily face Indiana in the second round, as the standings are now. I don't know where to begin with your comment. You first assert they will definitely not face Indiana, and conclude "if they do..."

Washington is 1.5 games ahead of 8th. They could finish 8th and face Indiana in the first round, or 7th and face Indiana in the first round.

Soxxx, you say some crazy shit but that takes the cakes. The only team who can beat Indiana in 7 is Miami.

Key word, 7. Wizards would knock them out in 6 games.

I normally don't do guarantees, but I guarantee a healthy Pacers team would beat the Wizards, and they'd probably do it in less than 6 games.

Patty Mills has proven to be a reliable PG, something the Spurs did not have in Gary Neal last season.

You might have jinxed Patty Mills tonight. 1/12 so far.

Washington's point differential is zero, and they're 9-14 against the West.

Wizards are now .500, which is pretty sad, considering they play in the East and get to face a lot of bad teams.

yes, and they have lost 28

some of the teams they lost to:

    Detroit
    Philly
    Cleveland
    Milwaukee
    Atlanta
    Detroit again
    Boston
    Utah
    Cleveland again

They're also 0-3 against the Raptors.

Finally, they've played Indiana twice this season.
    First game: lost 93-73
    Second game: lost 93-66

So if they do face Indiana in the playoffs, maybe their goal should be staying within 19 points for once.

They only have to win 4 games over Indy.

We are actually discussing a possible Wizards upset over the Pacers? Really? Pacers bench could probably beat the Wizards, ok maybe not, but this isn't even something worth looking at. This isn't football, in a series, the best team will generally win. And the Pacers, well, they are a far superior team than the Wizards in every aspect of the game.

We have seen a 67 win team lose to a 42 win team, so yes it is entirely fair for it to be discussed.

And honestly it wouldnt even be that big of an upset, it would only be viewed as an upset if you think that the Pacers are overwhelming favorites. I fully expect it to happen and there wont be no "shock" factor on my end, perhaps on your end there might be, not me though.

What's your point? They've played Indy twice and gotten thrashed twice. They were never in either game.

The Wizards are a bad team. If they played in a typical conference, I would guarantee they'd lose in the first round, but the 13-14 East is historically bad, and Washington could win the first round as long as they don't have to face a good team (and 5 of the other 7 playoff teams if they make it will be not be good teams, so that could definitely happen).

I guarantee they will not beat Miami or Indiana in a series this year, barring major injuries to the Heat/Pacers.

It would be a huge upset.

I'd give you 4 to 1 odds right now if you have money to bet.

You fully expect it to happen, so make a bet with me at 4/1 odds. I'd risk 100 to your 25 or whatever stake you want. Bet is of course only action if they meet in the playoffs.
