Woodson says the team botched an elbow pick and roll on the last shot of regulation

That has to be the last straw for woodson...PLEASE?

I also fucking hate Raymond Fatso Felton so much.

Its finally time, we needed this loss. Hopefully Dolan reacts. The atrocity of losing to the worst team in the western conference at home after having a 13 point lead in the late third and blowing it to a team without their superstar player Demarcus Cousins...We end up not scoring any points in OT until it was 1:50 to go?

But Marc Stein on twitter says Dolan WANTS to keep Woodson for rest of the season.

My goodness, I am done with this shitty team

Some of Woodson's post game comments are quite ridiculous.

We went over this time and time again, but man has his coaching style changed from last year to this year. The easy out, and I'm gonna do it again, Dolan has to be the reason.

It was so difficult to watch the end of that game

Carmelo Anthony comments have been are so conflicting. He'll say something in one sentence, and then follow it up with another sentence that kind of nullifies what he just said.

He can't say what he really wants to say, i.e. his point guard is a retard and his coach is a monkey. "Replace them and I'll stick around, otherwise I'm out"

Yeah that's pretty much it. He can't fully speak on anything because well it would be really harsh truth and well Dolan is a wildcard.

Him slightly opening the door for taking less money, would be nice if he plans on staying in NY. The problem is with Amare and Bargs and Chandlers contract we have no cap room in 2014. It will be 2015 before we have a ton of cap space if Melo takes a small contract.

    If this is accurate,

    Kurt Helin @basketballtalk
Carmelo says his "first priority" is to stay with Knicks. Says he wants to hear from them legit plan and if so he sounds like he stays.

Good bye Melo, see you soon when you make road trips to MSG. The Knicks having a legit plan, hahahaha

^LOL. Yeah Dolan's got a plan. Just like he did with Jeremy Lin.

The Knicks seem to lose every single close game. It's absurd. We have no answer in the clutch because Melo's exhausted. Woodson is overplaying certain players again. He did it last year with Kidd and it screwed the team down the stretch. Melo leads the league in minutes, that's not sustainable if you plan to make a playoff run. No point in sneaking into the last playoff spot to have your star burned out for the year.

    2nd half of the season:

Scary enough, Knicks are still 2.5 games out of the 8 seed. 8 games out of the division, 5 out of the 6 seed.

Without assets to trade, without a coaching change according to the Stein tweet, well Woodson and this roster is here to stay.

Knicks are 14th in offensive points per 100 possessions, 24th in defensive category.

Knicks top lineups that have played at least 24 minutes this season (24 minutes is 1/2 a game):
    1) Pablo, Felton, JR, Melo, Tyson. (28 minutes)
    2) Beno, JR, Iman, Melo, Bargs. (33 minutes)
    3) Pablo, Felton, Shump, Melo, Tyson. (110 minutes)
    4) Felton, JR, Iman, Melo, Bargs. (126 minutes)
    5) Beno, JR, Melo, Amare, Bargs. (25 minutes)

The next few lineups are "big lineups" too with Bargs/Melo at the 4/3 combo.

The Knicks have 6 players who when they are off the court the Knicks play better:
    Bargs 2.1
    THJ 1.8
    Amare 1.3
    Beno 0.4
    Tyler 0.4
    JR 0.2

Now take these carefully since blowouts can really skew this.

The Knicks suffer the most when Melo, Iman, Pabo, KMART, and Felton are off the court in that order according to the numbers.

According to Marc Stein, Knicks said if a team wants Shump they have to
    a) give up a pick
    or
    b) take Felton

That's how a real FO does business, try to get value from an asset. Let's hope they don't panic and screw up before the trade deadline.

Up at the half against NOP.

Currently both Denver and Washington want Beno. If the Knicks can either sneak a young player or a 2nd rounder out of that, good for them. They won't even play Beno.

Marc Stein reports Clippers/Knicks deal not close to happening and not likely. Reportedly, Clips want Iman Shumpert for Darren Collison but the Knicks want Reggie Bullock for Ray Felton added onto that deal. The money overall doesn't work that way though.

    Melo wins.

Knicks win 98-91, Melo drops 42, JR 19, THJ 16 and no other double digit scorers. On NOP end, Eric Gordon had 28 and Rivers and Davis had 14 a piece.

Knicks do nothing at the trade deadline. I was hoping for Beno for a 2nd or Jordan Hamiliton since we don't use Beno at all but the Knicks didn't even do that. That's strange.

As many people on twitter joked, whenever you can keep 21-33 non playoff team with no cap room and no draft picks intact, you must do it!

I wish we could have flipped chandler for a first with Phoenix. The dude has been in the league for 12 years and has developed nothing of an offensive game. I also wish the rumor of shump to okc for a first went down. That woulda been a steal for us.
