Shit that would never happen. I would actually be kind of pissed off if they did that. One of my favorite things about NASCAR is that it's like capitalism in cars. The big guys can afford the better shit and teams are like corporations pooling resources to come out on top.

The nemecheks and Kvapils of the world may not stand a chance but its pretty cool that they go out there and try no matter what crap equipment they got.

You put your ideas in place and NASCAR becomes a lot like every other sport...

Competitive? Jimmie Johnson wins every year, Attendance is way down, and the season finale is watched by no one because the World Series and the NFL are in the picture. Nascar is really not very watchable anymore. You can't give tickets away here in TN for the Bristol race. Helton has it down to nothing now worth watching.

The problem is they DON'T go out there and try. Nemechek is a notorious parker.

Several teams park it each time they race. They have no intention of trying to compete or finish races. They just drive a few laps and collect a check.

I think only the top 20 or so should get prize money.

    Yeah...especially since Dillon is a baby-back bitch.

It is annoying how they keep changing the rules to try to keep JJ from winning every year. But I bet he wins it again...lol

    Bad Brad fan here btw

This year it won't be like that. Sure there will still be a couple (3-6) of cars that start and park, but there are so many young drivers entering Cup now who will be wrecking havoc in a year or two, if not this year. I think we'll see some good drivers, with a good background of success, finish in the mid 20's in the points this year due to it just being that competitive.

I am pulling for Dillon. The 3 car was always my favorite. Since Jr. drives nothing like his old man did, I will be hoping for Austin to win now.

I had a feeling about Hamlin starting 2ish weeks back, so I think I'll stick with him as far as predictions go.

Anyone could win the race, but what I'm more anxious for, is to see how each driver does at the normal tracks after Daytona.

The jet dryers are gone? I think they're still there, but they feel safe now, with JPM unable to get a ride on the circuit.
