The Jets skipped the player I wanted them to take but I do really like the Lewan pick, anytime you upgrade in the trenches it's a good thing.

I'm thinking waaayyyy ahead here but if the Cards skip this certain player that they MAY take this one player may fall right into the Raiders lap :)

Not sure how I feel about Lewan... Great talent, but if we resign Howard like I expect, Im not sure how he fits.

Man, last 4 guys exhausted my hopes for steals at 26.

The Cardinals who already have a pretty good defense just got a whole lot better. Now some people might question why take a CB in the 1st but they a few free agents and with Patrick Peterson on the other side could give the Cards one of the best secondaries in the league.

I thought that Dee Ford would be a player WW would be thinking about for the Jets pick... he's been "rising" lately and could be a relatively high selection

I considered him, but IMO, he's still a reach at #18 at this and Lewan was far and away the BPA. I probably will feel differently after the combine and pro visits.

I draft based on today, not what I think will happen in May.

He might be a reach at 21 but I he was impressive in the Senior Bowl and while he wasn't BPA I felt there are other areas GB can get better in with this pick.

I really considered Ford and a few others that haven't been drafted yet, it was just hard to pass on Lewan. I mentioned this earlier, Lewan would have been in the top 5 if he declared last year.

In May Ford's value may be close to a top 10 pick.

Man, there's a guy I'm *really* tempted to draft at 26 but won't just because i don't want to piss you guys off, lol.

Calvin Pryor was the other player I thought might have been in consideration for the Jets pick. I think him and Dee Ford could be legitimate players for 18 (although I may prefer and offensive playmaker).

Those were 2 choices I considered. I almost picked Pryor, but common sense prevailed with the better rated player.

I was really, REALLY hoping the Bengals would bail me out and take the guy I'm tempted to, but they didn't...
