I'm not as convinced about the west as you are. I think the two most dangerous teams are the Bruins and Penguins. The Bruins are an awful match up for the Rangers. I don't like our chances against them in a series. The Penguins are the best team in the league. I think we match up well with them, but they are very good. It would take a hell of an effort to beat them.

You are correct. Artic north, antarctic south where the penguins live and where it's summertime. Current summertime weather conditions in Antarctica range from a balmy +34F with light snow, winds from the south at 23 mph at Base Orcadas to a chilly -48F & sunny at Dome C.

Safe journey, good luck and come back healthy

    Rick Nash (Canada)
    Mats Zuccarello (Norway)
Henrik Lundquist & Carl Hagelin (Sweden)
Ryan Callihan, Ryan McDonagh & Derek Stepan (United States)

Cally is gone for nothing if he gets injured. The rest can heal up. Losing Cally to an injury would be devastating.

the "Antarctic" flightless water fowl have been defeated. I soiled myself when Richards put the 2nd one in the net during the shootout.

Mac was the best defenseman the US had out there this morning. And Cally was Cally. Loved it.

We already have a thread for the Olympic talk, but I agree that McDonagh and Callahan both played well.
