Watching this game is making me think of all those Denver players saying they were going to retire if they win...Mike Adams saying he'll walk home from the stadium. Seahawks were done talking after the Sherman rant. I'm pretty surprised Peyton can't do anything against them...it's the pressure

Yeah I would've gone for the 3 there too because's it's still the first half. But hard to fault the play call when in a deep hole.

 

My thinking on 3 poitns vs going for it.

If I'm Denver, you need 3 TD drives to win if the FG goes in or not. Do you think you'll get 3 opportunities to get a TD on the SEA D in the second half? Better than 4th and 2 at ~30?

If you think you'll get 3 better opportunities, you kick the FG. If you don't, you go for it and try to grab the 7.

 

Certainly, it will be hard to make a case though he is #1. He could have afforded to lose this game, but not this way.

 

Nothing shocking to me about the half time score.

 

Same way the other "greatest offenses ever" lose. Pressure the QB, they don't have defense/ST to lean on and rely on to win.

QBs may run the regular season, teams win in the playoffs.

 

He's the best of the 2000s onwards for me. Even if he loses this game 100-0.

I just don't think it's unreasonable for the Broncos offense to put up 3 TD's in the second half. The Seahawks defense is very good. So is the Broncos offense even if the Seahawks have dominated so far.
