Jonny, he goes, he goes, what can you do, hopefully if he goes they get someone useful for him...still not convinced he's going
Looks like this will be wrapped up one way or another by the Olympic freeze next Friday. http://nypost.com/2014/01/31/rangers-want-callahans-future-decided-before-sochi/
Dreger says now UNLESS Cally drops money demands , hes 100% being traded. NYR refuse to pay what hes asking. So maybe NYR are bluffing? Maybe not
Man..hope not MR. Have to say...very impressive win. Hank was well...his best all season. The Islanders are great at cross ice passes and setups and everytime it happened I kept looking over at Hank and saying hope he gets over there..and he was there already. He is really reading right now. Great stuff and this slow start may pay dividends in the playoffs. Very very sharp. And if Staal has now found his game +1 or 2..well, I have not seen him play this good in a very long time. He has had some special games lately and tonight he was friggin brilliant. If you get that kind of play from him and a steady Girardi and MAC being MAC, this becomes a very good unit. I dont know..still want that big tough 15 to 20 goal guy that plays more than 6 minutes a game...thats all I want right now. If Cally must go, thats what I want in return. That makes this team very interesting.
God forbid another Clowe, 3 goals 4 concussions 5 mil/per, exaggerating of course but I 'd rather have Stu Bickel than Slow Clowe
Jay add Strals to that, he was +3 again, Klein has stabilized John Moore, the overall team D is excellent right now with Hank on his game, the Isles have the highest scoring line in the league and were held to 1 goal twice...
I know what you mean Dirty, but if you're talkingabout Stewart, Cally is better, he's erratic, doesn't come to play every night, by the way what the hell were the Devils thinking giving Clowe all that money, he's not a difference maker out there at all
I think Kreider deserves more credit for tthis teams resurgence, friggin' 230 lb tank on ice, his mixture of size, speed and strength is amazing, he's a friggin' wrecking ball out there and creates alot of open ice for himself
No, it doesn't. I would've been elated to keep Cally at 4.5 a year. At 6, I'd rather get a couple of young prospects for him. If we're allowing teams to talk to him, we should get more.
