Man Jonnny...totally agree. Watched the Devils game last night and it was incredible..like they were flying after watching that nonsense the last 2 games. I would be very VERY impressed with a win tonight...very. The Islanders are a good solid team and not a great matchup for us. This is as must win as you can get for them...must win. With all of the above, if the Rangers post a real solid win tonight that would show me something big time towards the direction of this team.

What'd you think of the Isles "NY" jerseys the other night? Me, I thought they were kinda blah. Actually wasn't crazy about the Rangers' either. They showed on replay from down low (ice level) the Rangers breaking out of their own zone. Somebody passed the puck to Staal and when it got to him it was jumping around like a freshly caught fish flopping around on the deck, and poor Staal could only keep swiping at it in an attempt to control it, missing it on the first two swipes by a good half foot--it was rediculous.

Rangers have granted permission to one team to talk extension contract with RYAN CALLAHAN per Darren Dreger...Cally might be playing his last game as NYR tonight. Correction, at least 1 team.
