I know it's not easy but when you face better competition you get better. When I play basketball I always want to guard the best player on the other team b/c it will make me better. I certainly don't run and hide from better players/posters like he does.
Poor asshurt junc. He is such a whore for attention. These boards would be so much better if everyone had him on ignore. Maybe someday.
Most reasonable people have let it go, although I'm sure there are still some extremists out there who would make noise. It wouldn't be a big deal IMO.
Maybe not, but maybe he could benefit by watching a veteran prepare and play for a while like Foles did.
It takes all kinds. Marshawn Lynch is a tough guy and fierce competitor but can't handle the spotlight or the media crush. Martin was a good enough player to be a high draft pick and start as an OL with the Fins. There's always someone or someplace that can get your goat even if you're a Marine, a Navy Seal or an NFL starting player. So to say he doesn't belong in the NFL is not accurate. If he is tough enough to start over again and overcomes this situation than more power to him. But he deserves another chance. He made plenty of mistakes and should have basically just told Richie to go stuff it. And the idea of rookies or younger players having to foot the bill for $30,000 dinners is atrocious. Or paying for trips to Vegas over the line. I think Richie stuck Tannenhill with the tab jet skies for all of the offensive linemen (not sure if that incl. Martin) A night out with the boys for a nice feed and carrying someone's bags during training camp is ok.
that would require optimism and admitting the front office made a good move. your not going to get that from BB
Even the Geno naysayers can't deny his athleticism. He's made some throws that Sanchez only makes in his dreams.
The folks here were right, you ARE the designated comedian here. I KNEW you were good for a laugh, thank the Lord you've brought back the funny. _
I wish the poll had other options. - Start whoever looks best from TC and pre-season Its unlikely Sanchez will be with us either. The word comfortable is not one I would have chosen either, acceptable I think is better.
Thank God. I can see the two of you going back and forth telling each other they don't understand football until you both have murdered every pixel on the interwebs.
Problem with Geno is not with his arms, for the umpteenth time. It's with his head. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-super-bowl/0ap2000000145023/Taking-em-to-school Brown Left Z Right Sprint Right G U Corner Halfback Flat Read is Halfback flat -> U corner -> Z right -> Sprint Right G. Geno fucks up spectacularly from the get-go, with Brown RIGHT. Holy fuck. [Mariucci specifically tells him "The strength is on the LEFT."] He then fucks up the protection on Sprint Right read [G means RG pulls outside] then finishes up by completely omitting Z read. Probably I'm sitting in my comfortable chair watching the presentation - so maybe I can have better information retention. Still, you cannot excuse him for fucking up the formation from the get go.
I'm happy Geno finished on a strong note, but in no way am i comfortable with him as the starter going into next season. He needs to earn it and he needs a veteran and another drafted rookie as competition.
He was a second round pick, not the number one pick in the draft, he won the starting job by default not because he was Russell Wilson like and beat out the other QB's on the roster. He is entitled to nothing, I hope the jets draft another QB hopefully mettenberger if he falls to them. He is an average QB, and it's all he will amount to, his fundamentals are terrible, after 3 full years of college he hard a difficult time transitioning the basics. The Jets need to bring in a FA or resign MS for cheap. Unfortunately the most important position on the team is being handled incorrectly by the jets again, if they just hand the ball to Geno with no other option.
yuuuuuuuup you always head to worry about the int to the dlinemen too. something hs qbs regularly execute without problem Sanchez failed miserably at.
Not just screen pass. All passes shorter than 10 yards in general fall into this category - for most QBs, that's what you call 'Gimme' passes, where you get easy completions. For Sanchez, this is where disaster strikes the most.
And I can tell you, with 100% certainty, that I have never played a single snap in NFL - even during practice period.
