So a few friends and I like to get together and watch movies that are so bad they are enjoyable. We've watched a number over the last few months and wanted to get suggestions from people here or just general discussion about movies so bad you can't help but love them. Keep in mind it's not just movies that suck (i.e. any Jennifer Lopez movie) but ones that you can't help but laugh at how ridiculous they are, how bad the acting is, the production value, etc.

Here are a few we've watched recently:
-Sharknado. A tornado full of sharks, what else needs to be said?
-Troll 2. One of the worst movies ever made.
-The Room. Hilariously horrible movie, especially the dialogue and acting.
-Teeth. A movie about a girl who has fangs in her lady bits, painful at times but still good.
-Rubber. A telekinetic tire goes on a murderous rampage and other randomness.
-Black Dynamite. Kind of more like a spoof of blaxsplotation movies than it is bad.

There are probably other ones that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Does anyone else enjoy movies so bad they are good? Or anyone have any suggestions? Need to build up my collection for the next get together.

Johnny be Good- Anthony Michael Hall and Robert Downey 80's movie about college recruiting.
it's sub canine in its thinking but it's got some moments. awfully fuckin' silly.
    There's tons more.

    Batman and Robin (1997)..

worst Batman movie ever made, a disgrace to the recent, very good franchise.

    But-
great innuendos and puns... some hilariously terrible dialogue.. especially Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze.. So bad it's good.

And it featured Alicia Silverstone as "batgirl" hubba hubba.

Ah yes, good call. I saw Leprechaun in space (basically crappy porn) so should check this out.

I'll check out some of those other ones as well. There are probably lots of really bad horror movies, I like zombie flicks and one of my favs is Flight of the Living Dead, kind of a combination of Snakes on a Plane and low rent zombie flick.

Roadhouse (Patrick Swazye, Ben Gazzara, Sam Elliot, Kelly Lynch, feat. Jeff Healy)

Where to begin? More corny lines than you can shake a stick at:

'Doc' to Dalton: "I thought you'd be bigger.."

Dalton to 'Doc': "Pain don't hurt."

Jimmy (Ben Gazzara as Brad Wesley's #1 boy) to Dalton: "I used to fuck guys like you in prison!"

Sam Elliot (as bouncer Wade Garrett, while ripping a bad guys' limb out of place-right after the guy screams): "I bet that hurt." <---actually that was a great line the way he delivered it.

Brad Wesley gets jealous of his blonde bimbo coming on to Dalton, so he gives her a shiner when they get back home. Next morning when Dalton comes over at Wesley's invitation, Dalton catches a not-so-subtle glimpse of her working out and sees her with her black eye.....she looks at Dalton......pregnant pause......and THEN turns away in shame and embarrassment (don't worry honey, I don't think Dalton noticed). Beyond heavy-handed bad.

Kathleen Wilhote as "Carrie" the affable bartender (who filled in to sing with Healey's band): the 1st time she comes over to visit Dalton in his barn loft nest, she wakes him up (bringing coffee & doughnuts) at which point Dalton springs out of bed buck naked and walks over to the table to light up a morning Marlboro. Seeing his scrawny ass in the flesh, "Carrie" is so overwhelmed she lets out an audible, Dr. Hannible Lechter-ish lip-quivering sigh.....just like he did after uttering that memorable line: "I had him with a fine chianti and some fava beans......sivv-v-v-v-v-v" Hillarious, er down girl!

Ben Gazzara: so over-the-top, the uber Guido who runs the town and there's nothing the local sheriff (let alone the local FBI branch I suppose) can do about it. Don't pay off Brad? Your business gets burned to the ground. Attempt to organize resistance to Brad? Ol' Brad has a monster truck totally destroy your car dealership showroom and inventory.....and no one, no one catches this 'staged' demolition on film/tape.

    An entertaining mess.

I have to admit, I like a LOT of bad movies. I probably see more movies than anyone here and I liked Cabin in the Woods but when Bradley Whitford got eaten by the merman?

    Kind of cheesy.

    Eyes Wide Shut.

As great as the naked babe eye candy is, the movie was unwatchable.

I may have this thread wrong.

    How about: The Host..

I wanted to get out of the doghouse with wifey so I went to this chic flik that masqueraded as a sci fi. I was better off in the doghouse. It was so bad that wifey gave me a pass on my next transgression. :)
