Jamal Crawford has 35 and counting, KD is one assist from a triple double, and Al Jefferson went 32 and 13 against Chicago.
KD did hit that trip double. and Terrance Ross dropped 51. Sunday basketball is back! 1:00 PM SA vs MIA 3:30 PM LAL vs NYK (what a disaster this turned out to be) 6:30 PM BK vs BOS On ABC, ABC, ESPN
Hope San Antonio wins this game. I'm really looking forward to see how the Knicks will respond after that outing by melo
Huge blowout in Miami. LeBron, Ray Allen, Chris Bosh, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili all sitting in the 4th. You know who's not sitting? Wade, who barely plays because of his knees. Brilliant coaching again, Spoelstra.
de Colo made one of the best passes I've ever seen Jeffers failed to handle it cleanly, otherwise he had a wide open dunk/layup. Behind the back pass from behind the 3 point line to a guy wide open under the basket. Wade played 24 minutes. 6:46 79-104 Dwyane Wade personal foul (Aron Baynes draws the foul) 6:46 Othyus Jeffers enters the game for Marco Belinelli 79-104 6:37 Matt Bonner enters the game for Patty Mills 79-104 6:33 79-104 Michael Beasley shooting foul (Nando de Colo draws the foul) 6:33 Nando de Colo misses free throw 1 of 2 79-104 6:33 Spurs offensive team rebound 79-104 6:33 Nando de Colo makes free throw 2 of 2 80-104 6:18 80-106 Mario Chalmers makes layup (Michael Beasley assists) 5:54 Othyus Jeffers misses 12-foot jumper 80-106 5:54 80-106 Chris Andersen defensive rebound 5:48 80-106 Norris Cole out of bounds lost ball turnover 5:48 Official timeout 5:48 80-106 Greg Oden enters the game for Chris Andersen 5:39 Matt Bonner makes 25-foot three point jumper (Nando de Colo assists) 83-106 5:15 83-106 Michael Beasley bad pass 4:56 Nando de Colo makes 2-foot two point shot (Othyus Jeffers assists) 85-106 4:35 85-106 Greg Oden misses 9-foot jumper 4:33 Nando de Colo defensive rebound 85-106 4:33 85-106 Dwyane Wade personal foul (Nando de Colo draws the foul) Yep, 20+ point game with under 5 to play, Wade is playing. That makes sense. Why waste him in important situations when you can use him in garbage time?
Kings down 11 with 3:20 left, Michael Malone instructs his players to start fouling on every possession. He must've bet the over. Game was on pace to stay well under, but with all the intentional fouling, the final score was 106-99. Yep it was worth a shot and they converted poorly so that's better than just allowing them to use up the clock and still convert shots like they'd been doing all of the 2nd half. Thomas had gone out at half time so it was without Boogie, Gay and Thomas. Not too fussed, there's more signs being shown this season than anything that's happened the previous five and it's a good draft to be poor in. We're bottom of the West but would only be a few games out of East playoffs. That conference.
Kanter shooting over 75% from the line. Evans was at about 73% entering last night. So I guess he got lucky with them missing some. re: Thomas he played most of the third quarter. Apparently he was feeling sick. 4:18 Jimmer Fredette enters the game for Isaiah Thomas 60-70
Ken Berger @KBergCBS 19s Minnesota's Nikola Pekovic has bursitis in his right ankle and will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days, team says after MRI today.
Ahh interesting. I was just offered a trade in my basketball league with the guy giving me Pekovic. I saw he got hurt so I was waiting for an update.
Sounds like he'll be out at least 10 days. Tonight's top game is Spurs/Rockets. Harden was ruled out. Houston also missing Garcia and Asik, while San Antonio is without Leonard, Splitter, and Danny Green.
Popovich had Spurs players foul Dwight Howard intentionally for a large portion of the third quarter. Not the first time he's done this against Dwight, of course. It's killing the Spurs. They were up 7 at the half and trail by 8 after the third. 15 point swing in the quarter.
Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN 1m The dreaded "tightness, left hamstring" for Ginobili. Expect that Pop will tread lightly going forward.
Spurs chances hinge on health. They were fortunate the last two seasons to enter the playoffs at nearly 100%, not looking good right now.
