There is video proof of Sal tripping that Dolphins player. Until I see reports that substantiate that Geno was acting a fool I'm not gonna assume that he did.
Maybe Virgin is different, but I flew to and back from Vegas the same day this happened, and on both flights (SOuthwest) I took off and landed with earphones in watching a movie on my phone. In fact, they announced you could do so as long as it was in airplane mode and not talking or texting. I don't buy this was an issue of just having ear phones in. Unless the attendant is simply a raving lunatic it is hard to believe Geno was a perfect understanding gentlemen in this situation, even if he didn't deserve to get kicked off.
I'm going to assume you're an intense homer who let's their Jets fandom overwhelm their common sense.
I'm not saying he's innocent. I'm just saying that I'm not gonna accuse him of something without hearing reports confirming that he in fact was acting up. If they said he was yelling at the flight attendants and making a scene then I'd call him out for acting like an ass. Until then I can't just assume.
LOL, I actually WORKED at the airport full-time for 2 years, so don't go trying to tell me about airports. I've been around a plane thousands of times, and I ain't shitting you. I've been in the terminal countless times. I travel myself at least once a year...at least twice if you figure on the trip back. You are wrong on so many levels that I don't even know where to begin. I'm through talking in circles with you. Stop telling me what I assume. The fact is that Geno Smith abandoned his flight over an incident involving headphones. That's the main constant in all of the reports. Give him any kind of benefit of the doubt until the cows come home, but not going through with his flight over this petty BS cannot bode well for Geno's ability to handle adversity, let's just say...this is likely no matter what kind of benefit of the doubt you want to give him. Don't be naive. You think he may have been assaulted by the flight attendant or something? Did he fear for his safety? What kind of things are YOU projecting on the situation that are unreasonable? INTERNAL fit I said, because things didn't go his way. Are you able to follow logic? Are you able to at least admit that this does not look good? Because the homerism is tremendous. I'm not saying that this is a huge deal, but it does speak to something.

Mountains out of Molehills. this is just a case of never letting a guy thats supposedly has to be infallible without so much as a minor spat on his record be human. He complained to an airline! oh woe is me what a petty asshole, he's fucked up now! Reality: this doesn't mean shit in regards to his character, it was a misunderstanding with a bit of fault on both sides that lead to no repercussions for Smith and in fact warranted the airline to apologize. no big deal people. God its like the time he "ruthlessly" fired his agents again.
It's not like he cursed out the crew over the PA...grabbed a beer out of the fridge, cracked the emergency exit and slid down the inflated escape slide. That woulda been cool.
